Mega Pest

This company was not chosen by me but came up during a VA loan for my property. A three-way call was made with the receptionist (Elizabeth) at MegaPest, my lender, and myself. The receptionist, who refused to give me her name, was rude and kept saying that no one wanted to work with me. When I asked why she stated that an appointment was missed and that the inspector was offended that I did not let him into my house when he did show up a week later. I informed her that the inspector did not show up for the original appointment and then showed up at my doorstep unannounced so I was unable to accommodate him. She continued yelling at us and told us that they had plenty of business and did not need our business. She then just hung up the phone on myself and the lender. When I called back to get her name, and talk to a manager, she hung up on me. I called again and was sent to voicemail. Very unprofessional.

The inspector they sent out earlier said that I had mice problems. After the above incident, I had a different inspector come out and he said he didn't know why the Mega Pest inspector listed mice activity. He said he saw no activity whatsoever and gave me a clear bill. VA loans are time consuming and difficult so maybe this company cannot handle the pressures of the VA, but that is no excuse. I would suggest you take your business elsewhere unless you don't mind being yelled at and getting false reports.

We found a strange bug in our apartment and were terrified it was a bed bug. I called Mega Pest right away and they gave me an email address to send a photo to. Franky called back within 5 minutes and confirmed it was a Elm Beetle(thank goodness) and was harmless. Highly recommend
