I simply can't be happier with the service I received at this shop. I took my computer in to Custom Computers because it would no longer get on the internet. When I checked it in I was told the issue was most likely virus related and was expecting at least a $150.00 bill for cleaning. To my surprise, when they called I was informed it was only a driver issue for my wireless adapter. The bill ended up being $50.00. Color me happy. Had they charged me the $150 I would never have known it was not virus but, Rick took care of me. Not easy to find someone you can trust like that these days. I recommend these folks to all my friends now.

I took my phone to C2T last week with a broken screen on my Iphone. At first, because C2T was a little more expensive than two other places, I went to the others. One was not at his shop though he said he would be the day before. So then I took it to a local big box store who had told me they could do it but when I showed up, they said "Sorry, we are just to busy" though I had just spoken to them about 45 minutes before. So, I went to see Richard. It turned out to be a good thing. C2T fixed my phone and had it ready for me within a little over 2 hours though they said it could be longer when I checked it in. When I picked it up, the new screen already had one of those screen protectors on it at no additional charge and everything worked great. When all was said and done, I think they were actually cheaper, than the others were going to be, for what I got. I will gladly recommend them now.

Computers are His Baby!!

Do you want to meet someone totally in love with his computers and the work he does? Come meet Richard. In my opinion he is the best in the business. I met Richard in September 2002, when I moved to Montana after I married a Montana native here in Helena. In my first call to Richard he walked me through a few steps of diagnostics to try to find a simple solution to my computer problem. Unfortunately that refused to fix it and he sent out his technician. That person was very courteous and even explained what he was doing and why. My computer worked fast and flawless after that. Over the years we sent my husbands computer into the shop. We also referred a few friends who were satisfied with their service. In 2009 I got a laptop and Richard did my tune ups and cleaning for that and our "old" computers. We always had reason to be satisfied and happy with his work. Recently, 2016, I wanted to spend my IRS and birthday money on a laptop with windows 10 and some gaming capabilities. We discussed my options and financial limitations. He said that he could find a laptop for me, but with the money I had available he sent me to Costco. He wanted me to check what was there to fit my budget. When I was there I found 3 models that seemed to fit the bill. So I called him from the store. He took the time to have me read the details of each laptop to him. He recommended one he knew a lot about(in fact he owns one similar to it). Then he said, I can get you one exactly like that one made, but it would cost you around $300 dollars more, so buy the one at costco. Now, who do you know that would give up a sale in order for you to get what was best for yourself?? I tell you, no one I know. In 14 years of dealing with him he always did the right things for me and above all he is honest and does not try to pull the wool over your eyes. He is not only a good repair man, but he is also a true friend to me and I am sure to all his customers. If there is an award for small business customer service reps, I will find it for him!

I normally hate talking with techie types but these guys were great. They got ride of my viruses and explained what I did wrong to get them. I could actually understand what they were talking about. That's a first! It took a little longer to get done but they were very busy. It took about 8 days to get my system back but it is running really well almost a month later. I will be going back and if you ask me...this is where I will recommend you take your computer too.

I took my laptop in to this shop this last Friday because the screen was blank on my laptop. I expected to have leave it a week or so and for the repair to be expensive as I figured I needed a new screen. The building looks like a house so I had a time locating them. The tech, Tony I think him name was, turned it on while checking it in for repair but somehow he saw what the problem was. I had apparently hit a key which switched the display to use the external port. Not sure how I did that. He made the adjustment right at the counter and then did not charge me anything because "it was so quick to fix". It only took a few minutes but I still expected to get hit with the minimum fee they told me they have when I called. But they did not charge me anything. That was a nice surprise as computer problems always cost so much. I was so happy I bought a new laptop mouse from them I had been thinking of getting. It is working great too. I had not been to this shop before but I will be back and will update this if I have them do anything else.

I have tried the others but never again. I took my systems to them when the guys at Staples said it could not be fixed. Turns out the issue was not a bad motherboard but just some viruses. These guys cleaned the viruses and saved all my photos and other stuff. Thanks guys!!!

I recently had a hard drive crash on my office computer. I took the hard drive to a local business a friend recommended to try to get the data off. That company spent a week trying to recover the data without any luck. While at another store for a cable, I mentioned the issues and they asked for an opportunity to work on the hard drive. Custom Computer Technologies recovered all of my data. I was so impressed I purchased a PC from them to transfer the data to. Great service, the price was reasonable and I will be back!!
