I would highly recommend Carmack Appliance Co. for repair service. From the initial phone call to the completion of the job, I was completely satisfied. They are fair, reasonable, polite and on time (phone call with eta much appreciated!) I called three repair services and chose Carmack; the least expensive trip charge/estimate. That charge was well worth it and it totally helped me make the decision to repair vs buy a new Dryer. I hope this helps someone else who needs a recommendation for appliance repair. Maryann

Called Carmack because they are a local. Service guy spent 10 minutes looking at my dryer and stating I needed to replace the coils. $26 for parts and $30 for labor. 10 minute install. That's fair. But a $65 TRIP CHARGE?? What did I do, pay mileage for this guy to drive to Garden City from Grand Rapids? ? What a ripoff. Never again. I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody!!

I have used Carmack twice in the last six months. First time was for a repair on a rental property dryer, second time was on my own washer and dryer. Both repairs were done on time and parts needed were just a few dollars over the service call. No gouging. Every person I talked to was very nice and professional. Thanks!

Not very happy with them right now. My wife took the day off work for them to come over and replace a part on my fridge. They called this morning and said the part they had was broken so they can't come today. I offered to go purchase the part from the repair clinic and have it there today to get it fixed and they won't do that. Now we have to take another day off work and have our fridge not working for another 4 days. By the way we are looking for a good repair company.

I shoud have payed attention to the other reveiws! i would never use this company or recommend them again. Rude
