Silverback Moving & Storage

I've lived in Boca Raton, Florida, for nearly twenty years now. I have hired several moving companies in the area. Originally I hired a moving company to relocate my wife and I to the Boca Raton area. We then changed places three times after coming down. This most recent time we hired Silverback Moving in West Palm Beach. Fortunately we weren't taking much after our estate sale. None the less I wanted someone from the Silverback Moving office to come out to look at the home prior to scheduling service.

The day of the estimate a rep came out to the home. He was extremely helpful and detailed in his notes. This was nice considering the other moving companies I phoned in the Boca Raton area had no interest in even coming to the home.

The day of the move we had a staff of three and a single truck. The team worked quickly and professionally. This was a relief considering I've experienced far different in the past.

We moved from Boca Raton to Boca Raton so it was a move of shorter distance. When all was done and handled the move actually cost less than we had anticipated and we didn't have to lift a finger. Silverback Moving in West Palm Beach is by far the best moving company we've had since living in the Boca Raton area. I don't plan on moving soon, but ill phone them if needed.

Ignorant, rude, dishonest and fraudulent business owners. Apparently this is a family business and the son is supposed to be in charge while his father makes excuses for everything he does that harms his business and disrespects the customers. I posted a review about this company on this site at their Hamlin address about my May 21st move. I was given a Birmingham address and then a Hamlin address for Rochester and now I see there is Bellarmine address. This company cannot be trusted. They give you an extremely low estimate to lure you in then they charge 3 times as much and will speak to you very disrespectfully if you question the bill. I am filing a lawsuit against this very fraudulent company for the damages they caused to my furniture that were never fixed. They also refused to give me their insurance company information they may not really be insured at all. Either way I will get whats owed to me if me and my lawyer have to visit all three of these addresses. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE FRAUDULENT, DISRESPECTFUL AND WILL DAMAGE YOUR FURNITURE WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT.

This company has so many addresses. One in Birmingham, one in Rochester...I had such a hard time tracking them down. I am writing a review on this address as well as the other address. This is a very dishonest (yes, they outright lied) company. The son is the front for the so called family business. He and his father are intimdating, frightening, rude, accusatory, dishonest, arrogant to say the least. The father represented his son who is the owner. Both very rude, more concerned about paying out one dime to correct damages they made to my beautiful wood -- floors and cherished furniture. They lied in court. I did not. Never ever consider this company. They are not customer concerned, they are a horrible group. I tried to contact them (as someone by the name of Melissa did...her note is on their other address on this yp site) so many times, to no avail. I finally got their attention by tracking them down...via a court officer. Yes, it was worth it. Maybe someone else will benefit from my experience. I hope so. Do not, repeat, do not hire this company.

I scheduled my move for 10 a.m., nobody showed. I called twenty minutes later and was told they confirmed the day before between 10 and 11. I asked who they called and they said OH, MY MISTAKE. For the next hour, different employees called me back, pushing my move time farther and farther into the day! I finally cancelled my move and found a more accommodating mover. I really rate them NO STAR.
