My Chicago Moving

We have been struggling with this company for 2 years!! We hired them to move across the country and it was a very bad decision.

While they were packing our belongings up they were scraping our buffet top with out lamps when they were putting the bubble wrap on. We pointed it out and they got defensive and told us about how they do this all the time know what they are doing and that the scraps were there from beforehand (not true, we know our furniture better they do...)

Then when they showed us the inventory about how many boxes there were, they had 3 more then we had packed. We told them the numbers were wrong, but again, they said they do this all the time, and there is no way they can make a mistake with the counting system they have. The numbers were wrong, and therefore we were charged for 3 boxes that didn't exist.

I get that moving companies damage goods and make mistakes, but typically they will reconcile these issues in a fair way. Not this company. We brought up the issues, and they gave us the run around and sent us to their subsidiary company called CSI that I have been working with for the last 1.5 years or so to try to reconcile this.

I just heard from CSI my claim has been closed and we will not be compensated for the damages and the moving company will not return the money they took from us for the boxes that didn't exist.

This company is shameless, and has no problem damaging your property and charging you for boxes that do not exist

Please save yourself the trouble and find someone (ANYONE) else to help with moving.


They over charged us for 3 boxes that didn't exist. They damaged multiple lamps and pieces of furniture.

I had to move within 48 hours and All Around Van Lines was the company I hired very hastily. But, on contrary to my fears, the movers turned out to be wonderful. The men were all very experienced and it showed in their work. They packed up all our belongings in just 3 hours. Not only were they fast, they were also very efficient. They took such great care of our furniture while loading them onto the van. Soon they were off to the road. They made the delivery right on time as well. All our things traveled quite well. I think I got really lucky that I hired All Around Van Lines. Most moving companies are just out for blood these days.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. They made my life so much easier. I moved from the two story house in Illinois to 3rd floor apartment in Albany, NY and during the loading process, I was quite sick but these guys made it easy and simple. They were professional, efficient, friendly and all for a very reasonable price. If you are moving, go with these guys. They are quite reliable. The moving crew showed up right on time, explained everything clearly and set to work as a well-coordinated team without delay. They protected my house and new apartment as well as my furniture and moved me into my new apartment within 6 days. I highly recommend them.

From the onsite estimate to the completion of the move, everything went just great for us. Their sales guy did everything possible to offer us the best price and organize the move to the perfection and the movers worked really hard to execute the plan perfectly. Though there were many delicate and fragile items but nothing arrived with a scratch. They really deserve all those great reviews which I saw online.

The quality of delivery and packing is an utterly important aspect for any moving company. All Around Van Lines is quite aware of this fact and they have a crew who knows all the techniques that they should. The items including a couple of electronic equipment and other stuff were wrapped in bubble wraps for extra safety. Once they reached the venue, the crew helped me unpack the larger items. I thought they would actually leave once it is loaded in the home. But, they unpacked and cleared the packing materials which saved me a lot of time. I was totally stress-free throughout the move. Thanks to them for that.

I am quite tired of moving to new places. This, hopefully, was our last move. I hired All Around Van Lines because last time we tried to move on our own and it was a disaster. They sent over 4 men who were all very well trained and extremely helpful. They didn’t cause any damage, not even a scratch, to my furniture. I wasn’t really expecting them to be that professional given how low their quote was. But they really surprised me. I think it’s much more convenient to just hire a moving company who knows how to this job than trying to do it on your own. It was a good lesson learnt and I highly recommend this company.

After moving with 5 different moving companies and losing favorite possessions in their hands, I finally found a moving company who does the job perfectly. All Around Van Lines helped me move last week. The best thing about them is that they listen. Most movers come in with the mindset that they know better. But in the end of the day, these are my valuables. The movers from this company were really attentive to my instructions. They packed everything as I instructed them, rather than using their own brains. They did display amazing skills though. The delivery was prompt and everything arrived safely. I surely got my way with this company.

After experiencing their service, I must say that they are the best movers I have ever used. I used them while shifting my house. Movers not only came on time, they also managed to finish the entire move before the allotted time and surprisingly delivered a 100% perfect move! It is quite obvious to see some broken and damaged stuffs after the move but I was lucky enough to avoid all these incidents. Movers did their best to ensure the safety of my stuffs and they were excellent to maintain the schedule. I am very impressed and would like to recommend them to my friends.

I enjoyed my last move a lot and for that all credit goes to All Around Van Lines. I had lots of sensitive decoration pieces; I was very anxious about how these things will be moved. Their foreman and his team have been working on moving sector for a while and they are very experienced at what they do. They wrapped all stuff very carefully. I was glad to see their sincerity and caring mentality. Being honest they gave value of my every single penny. I like their pricing. I will be glad if I have them again for my next move.

The company, the staff and the movers are a professional whole that will make you feel good, relaxed and stress free during the relocation. I know most of us can’t be calm until the moving is over, but trust me these guys will do the work amazingly. They moved me from Illinois to Texas in six days.
