        Margie Welek Fagan opened her interior design studio in 1985 to outstanding reviews. She recently moved to the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan, servicing Grand Haven, Holland and the surrounding areas as well as the Kansas City Area. The firm's work has been featured in Kansas City Homes and Gardens, Junior Women's Symphony Designers Show House magazines, Better Homes and Gardens "Bed and Bath", Cover of Country Accents, KC Star newspaper and highlighted on Kansas City's News 4 television channel. In 1992, Fagan was awarded the highest honors of "Nationwide Show House Designer of the Year" by Schumacher & Co., NY. Margie has completed numerous residential and commercial design projects. These jobs include clients in Grand Haven, MI.,the greater Metro area of Kansas City, Charleston, S.C., Cincinnati, OH., Naples, FL., St. Louis, MO., Crested Butte, CO., Dallas, TX., and Playa del Carmen, Mexico.         I fell in love with Margie's style over twenty years ago when we built our new home and I saw her work in the Kansas City Designer's Show house. I hired her on the spot! Since that time we have changed our design themes along the way and each time I love the results more than the last project! She has designed everything from our kitchen to our teenage sons' bedrooms to my screened porch to our master bedroom. She is a gem.

        I have been using Fagan Interiors design talents for the last 15 years. What an improvement Margie has made in my living space. I depend on her whenever I want to change a wall color, arrange furniture, or simply add a few new accessories. She has a great eye for color and design. She is always willing to use what I already have whenever possible, which is a real money saver. She understands "my style" and works toward the look I prefer, but also suggests possibilities I may not have even considered. I highly recommend Fagan Interiors for your design needs. As I once told Margie, using her has actually saved me money - because now I don't make mistakes!
