What can I say about this wonderful man except gracious kind-hearted and caring? Along with his team Jennifer, Ben, Max, and if I’m missing someone I’m sorry but these people did a fantastic job. This was a hard rough time for me and these gracious loving caring people took the time every day to make sure to keep me up to date. I currently live in Dallas Tx so many of our calls or visits were via phone or email. Paul and his team helped me with custody, child support, grandparent fight. Paul did an amazing job and is still doing an amazing job. I met Paul in June 2010 and still with him and I couldn’t imagine myself with another attorney except him. God truly blessed me with this gracious man and his team. I don’t know what I would have done without them to help me fight to the end. Thank you so much for all you have done and probably will be doing for me in the future I highly recommend this attorney.
Child Custody and Visitation
I used Paul first for family law. After the child custody stuff was finished I ended up needing a BK attorney because of my financial problems stemming from the breakup of my ex etc… Instead of just going to Paul even though he was good for my family law I checked a few bankruptcy attorneys out first. All I found was a bunch of people trying to get my money but not caring about my issues. One guy rushed me, another wouldn’t give me a free consultation – I was like “I’m done.” So I called Paul and I’m happy I did.
Spousal Support
One thing I’m sure Congress did not intend they got anyway: the way bankruptcy is set up now actually (in this humble writer’s opinion) promotes divorce. Couples who could not have successfully filed a joint bankruptcy if they stayed together may well be able to each file an individual case if they separate and/or divorce. Two households, two separate means tests, less money per household to go around and you have the makings of a Means Test much more likely of successfully surviving in Chapter 7. In one case, two family law attorneys on opposite sides of a case urged me to represent each of their clients in their respective individual bankruptcies. The husband and wife each waived the obvious) conflict of interest. Bankruptcy made their conversation between themselves and their family law attorneys about spousal support so much easier. The higher-earning spouse got a dollar-for-dollar deduction on the Means Test; the other spouse, even with the support, was still below the median income. With a few strokes of the pen and clicks of a mouse, we started the process which would wipe out nearly $200,000 in debt. A happy-ish ending for everyone, at least from a dollars and cents perspective.

Fraud
A person who is seriously considering bankruptcy should stop using credit cards. If you use a credit card within 90 days of filing bankruptcy, the useÂ of the card will be scrutinized for fraud. If the court finds that your use of a credit card was fraudulent, the debt will not be discharged. The court may Â also decide to dismiss your petition as a whole, and you could face criminal fraud charges.If you make a large purchase with a credit card right around the time you file for bankruptcy, the court may get the impression that you never hadÂ the intention to repay the debt in the first place. Making credit card purchases without the intention to repay the debt is fraud. A credit card companyÂ may challenge your ability to have the debt owed to it discharged. This challenge is called a non- dischargeability action.
