This company deserves "0" stars. I paid for a service (2,600.00) in May 2018, we are almost in December and nothing has been done. Multiple attempts to "motivate" Chris to do what I paid him for have been failed. It is clear that they are not interested in doing the job.

I hired City Confidential and ended up having to sue them to get my $1,500 retainer back. Through my attorney we hired them for a child custody case and after they took my money we never heard from them again. My lawyer and I placed many phone calls to Chris Kettner and Susan Park who promised to get with me and never did. When I sued them, Susan Park refused service when the sheriffs department went to give her the warrant in debt paperwork for court. She knew exactly what she was doing. So I had to get some help to find out how I could legally serve her after the judge made it clear he could not do anything if she was not served because she didn’t show up for court. I had to serve her through the Virginia State Commission. Not only did I file a civil case. I also filed a criminal case and Criminal Justice Services who issues their license. They are crooked and should be shut down. Do not use them!

I live in Ohio and in Aug. 2017 I hired City Confidential to obtain some information I needed for an upcoming court case. I spoke to Chris a Private Investigator working for the company we discussed the specific reasons why I needed in great detail the type of services they offered and we chose the best one(s) for my needs. Chris reassured me that I would receive a final report regarding the information and I knew I could use the reported information for my court case. I made payment right away and he stated the investigation will begin once that is done. I was billed $2701.05. I notified Chris in October that I wanted to discontinue service and he said he would get my report within approximately two weeks. I called Chris in 2/22/18 left a detailed message and instead of calling me back he texted "I haven’t forgotten you will have it soon... promise". As of today’s, date (April 9, 2018) I have had no report regarding the information I hired this company for and during March 2018 More than eight months have passed and I have not had any service done by this company and any information they might try to provide will be out dated and I had to move forward with my court case without the information I needed from them. I feel taken advantage of, misused and false promise of getting my report that I paid for. Chris didn't even have the gumption to tell me he wasn't going to give me a report of the information and at this late date I would regard any information they might offer as outdate, old, unusable and I could not guarantee that it would be information pertinent to my case. This company stole my money and provided no service. I am requesting a full refund as my court case was time sensitive and when I needed the information was when I hired them not eight months later. I would consider any information they would attempt to give me now old, outdated, incorrect and quite possible made up, rushed and false information just to pacify me with someone else’s report.
