History

In 1964, just six years after arriving in the United States, Pat and Anna Porretta settled on a piece of property in Portage Park, Chicago, to begin their long and illustrious restaurant career. Through exceptional service and great food, the Porretta family quickly earned the loyalty and respect from their customers allowing them to push forward and become a neighborhood staple. What once started as a small counter service pizzeria has now become a full-fledged Italian Trattoria under the ownership of John and Gabriela Panvino. You will love our famous thin crust pizza, pasta specials, grilled calamari, eggplant parmigiana, and other time-tested specialties which have made us a local favorite for over a half century!
