My family hired Mr Stevens to resolve a family issue by sending out a letter and was quoted #250.00 to write this letter, no other fees were discussed unless we had to go to court which we did not have to do. However, when the family did the right thing and payed Mr Stevens did not live up to honoring the fees of #250.00 which was paid up front. Instead he took $1100.00 out of the money that was meant for my brother. When questioned as to why he did this he felt that because he had to make two phone calls that the extra $1100.00 dollars justified and seemed reasonable. Wrong!! What ever you do do not used Richard Stevens Law firm to work for you because he doesn't and has hidden fees that come with his terrible service is unacceptable.

I paid Mr Stevens 600.00 a year ago and still have not received any type of service except for 1 letter they sent. they never answer the phone. nor have the picked up the phone to call me without me leaving tons of messages first. my services were not rendered and I WANT MY MONEY BACK. I'M not paying 600$ for 1 letter. the refusal to do so is very upsetting. not refunding my money coupled with never answering the phone looks like desperation. I just want justice I had faith that I WOULD BE TREATED RIGHT SINCE I PUT THE MONEY UP FRONT. WRONG.
