I definitely would not recommend this office. We started going here because they didn't charge out of pocket expenses with our insurance plan, however they did bill the insurance company every chance they got. My husband went in for a filling and had to keep going back because the pain never went away. He got charged for every visit and they finally had to put a crown on his tooth 5 visits later. I've been to other dentists before that never charged when I had to go back because of a previous visit and they didn't bill the insurance either. On my last visit as I was checking out I asked if I could get a prescription for the pain and was told from the front desk person that the Dr wouldn't write one for me unless it was major surgery. When I commented on finding a new dentist, she just laughed at me. When the numbing wore of my tooth was throbbing and I tried calling the office. It said it was closed even though it was only 4:30pm and their website lists them being open til 5:00pm that day. For those reasons, my family and I will never go back there and make sure to let others know of our experience.

I would not recommend Dr. Lee. I have had several procedures done by him and at the beginning I did not have dental insurance. Dr. Lee never gave me options and it seemed as though the only option was always the most expensive option. For every visit, I ended up in more pain than when I went in and with a lot less money. He had to redo all 3 procedures over again. When I went in for my crown (on my front tooth) I had to wear a very awful looking temporary for months because once the crown was on it was the wrong color so the temporary went back on so that it could be fixed. The exact same thing happened with the bridge. Finally, when I went in for a filling he drilled down my tooth to the nerve AND THEN told me that I needed a root canal. Once the root canal was done I was in pain for 3 days. I called the office and they said that it was probably just the injection site. The pain in the tooth got so bad that I couldn't even eat a banana. Needless to say, he didn't get all of the nerve out and so he'd have to REDO the root canal. I will be finding a new dentist.

I just started going to Rose City Dental, but so far it has been a great experience. I was a new patient and in an emergency situation and they scheduled me for the day after I called. Many other dental places had new patients booked months out. The longest I have ever sat in the waiting room was maybe five minutes. He was very gentle, even working around a cold sore, trying his best not to touch it. He also checked in often, making sure everything was pain free and going well for me as a patient. It was very comforting and there was no pain! It was good, and I look forward to having him as a dentist!

I found Dr. John Lee and Farm...

I found Dr. John Lee and Farmington Dental Care through a Living Social deal for a cleaning and xrays and I must say the experience has been great! When I arrived the staff was friendly and helpful and I was taken right in, no waiting at all. The dental assistant/hygienist that cleaned my teeth (Barbara I believe) was so sweet and friendly and very thorough with my xrays and cleaning. No "rush job" because I was on a coupon (which I have experienced before)

Dr. Lee came in and checked my teeth and xrays and then determined if I needed any work done. He went over everything clearly and told me in order which teeth were priority to get done.

I went back this week for a new porcelain filling and the experience again was fast and friendly and the cost for this work was very inexpensive compared to other dentists I have been to. I have had a lot of dental work done in my life and this was a very enjoyable experience and he is so nice and straight forward with what I needed to get done.

I would highly recommend Dr. John Lee and Farmington Dental. I have a 3rd appointment in 2 months for more work on my teeth and again the cost estimates are really a great value with excellent work.

Dr. Lampee is the best in the ...

Dr. Lampee is the best in the business! My first positive experience with his office came before I had even stepped foot in the door. A co-worker had suggested this dental office to me so I immediately called to make an appointment for a cleaning! The ladies who work at the front desk are, hands-down, the nicest, most personable and professional people I've come in contact with. When I called to make an appointment I left a voicemail, as the scheduler was assisting another patient. I received a return call within 5 minutes and an appointment was made. (May I add that they were able to work me in to the schedule within a couple days! No one wants to schedule an appointment for two months out!) When I walked in to the office, it was more like stepping in to a spa. I was greeted by the helpful woman who scheduled my appointment who then took my name and told me Dr. Lampee would be right with me. I took a seat on a plush couch, beside a little fireplace, and picked up a People magazine! I decided to forego the hot tea and delve right into the latest juicy gossip! Before I could get into the "who's-dating-who in Hollywood," I was called back..... (A lil' sad that they were so quick and I didn't have a chance to find out who Kelly Pickler's new beau was.) The hygienist walked me through the cleaning before I even opened my mouth! I like to know what they're going to be doing before they start. For example, do I need x-rays? Will my insurance cover that? Throughout out the cleaning the hygienist made small talk and told me about her family, her adorable dog, and how long she had been working for Dr. Lampee. She even gave me some pointers on how to floss more effectively and get those back teeth! Who knew?!? Towards the end of the cleaning Dr. Lampee came back over to check out my (now) pearly whites! He goes through a few steps first like the cancer screening, checking out my gums, looking for cavities, etc.... All the while telling me about his yoga classes (which I then started) and his piano classes! (I have no business playing piano). Dr. Lampee is a pro and really knows his stuff! So gentle, so pleasant to be around, and REALLY cares for and about his patients! Did I mention he's not bad to look at either?! Before I left, I got my goodie bag filled with a toothbrush, floss, and magnets! Jade, who is the oh-so-helpful woman at the front desk, scheduled my next cleaning for 6 months out! When walking out the door, I contemplated swiping that People mag to finish the story I had only just started, before they efficiently whisked me away to the cleaning chair. However, after such fabulous service, how could I even think twice. I'd leave it for the next girl.....
