General Info: Rahway Regional Cancer Center in Rahway, New Jersey is a patient-centered, independent radiation oncology treatment facility offering customized therapy for patients suffering from various cancers. Expert Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Eric Karp, opened the center in 1993 to give the best possible cancer care in the most convenient way. Rahway Regional Cancer Center has been accredited by the American College of Radiology for more than 15 consecutive years, last being re-certified for the maximum 3-year term in 2017. The facility has door-to-door transportation when necessary and offers free parking for patients who drive themselves to treatment. Radiation Oncology
Dr. Karp, born in New York City, is an honors graduate of Columbia University in NYC where he worked extensively in tumor immunology and neurochemistry research. He then received his medical degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC where he was the recipient of two prestigious National Institutes of Health Research Fellowships and also where he received special commendation and honors in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Karp then served his entire residency in radiation oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NYC where his level of outstanding performance resulted in his selection and the rare distinction of serving as an American Cancer Society Fellow in Clinical Oncology.
