        Do not use Fort Lauderdale Moving & Storage or the other name they go by, Authority Van Lines!They (Gary Sr. and Gary Jr.) charged us twice the amount for the delivery, the day of the delivery and told us that the weight was more than twice the one quoted. They said if we didn't pay the new amount that our things would go to storage. At no point before or after where we told of another weight or price till the day of. When we told them we would let others know they said they would not offer us the discount if we didn't sign off on keeping the matter private and off of social media.This act is coercion and we have discussed bringing a lawsuit as that is an illegal activity. We tried to reason with Todd the salesperson, and Gary Sr and Gary Jr but they yelled and told us that warning others was blackmail. But no one told us, or showed us paperwork to prove that. No one told us of a different pricing before, during, just on the day of delivery.

        This company is all All y Sons moving and storage....This is not Fort Lauderdale Moving & Storage, Inc. the picture of the truck in this profile does not belong to them. There is some sort of mix up with the listing...FORT LAUDERDALE MOVING AND STORAGE, INC HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS BUSINES OR THIS LISTING!!!

        This company is a fraud! Corporate promised to help but Jayson is no Better than the Owner Matt or office Cody. They scammed me into thinking the hrly rate was $150! I asked if pack material included, Kevin , said yes. Well they charged me $3,000 in pack material ! I almost died. They over wrapped and packed. I have contacted my credit card company and will file a law suit in court. I was charged over $10,000 for a 2 day move to a storage unit and a light load to Texas ! DO NOT USE!! Run run run

        Do not ever think of using the...

        Do not ever think of using these moving company. They are unreliable and not professional. They managed to leave several items at my moving from location, claimed I never gave a requested delivery date, claimed they did not have a copy of their own contract and i faxed over twice and they still claimed they never received any of my faxed copies of the signed contract. Shane seems to have amnesia and never writes anything down and never remembers any of the telephone conversations.
