        Overall

        I was on my home from work when my car started driving poorly and multiple caution lights came up on dash. I took the next available exit from Rt 28 [ that fortunately was Sharpsburg ]. I google searched close repair shops and went to Ferra's Automotive a short distance away. I wasn't expecting the warm reception I received. But Brian and Bill took me right in. After a short diagnosis they had me back on the road and the invoice was even a few dollars cheaper than the estimate. These guys are definitely professional and well trained .I highly recommend them.

        My daughter had an accident. I got there quickly but Ferra's was already there with my car hooked up. I told them I had AAA. They said they don't accept it. Ferra's shop is one mils from the accident. I am on Disability. They tried to charge me $400.00 for a 1 mile tow. I got them down to $250. and needed to tow the car to my house and they said they would charge AAA for that 2 block tow. Everyone is telling me how badly they lied & cheated me, especially about the AAA.

        We understand your concerns and apologize if you feel unhappy. We have to respond immediately when dispatched to an accident and that along with cleaning of debris and winching adds to the cost of the tow. AAA didn&#39;t call us so they wouldn&#39;t pay. The total tow, and storage was $300 that we reduced as a courtesy .We then towed the car from our storage lot to your home at no additional cost.

        stuck on the interstate

        My wife and I were on the way to visit our son in Ohio and while traveling on the P.A. Turnpike our car just stopped. A State Trooper soon pulled up and called for a tow. A truck [nicer than my car] soon arrived from Ferra Automotive. The driver was very polite and efficient. He had us loaded up and on the way to their shop in Sharpsburg in short order.The mechanic diagnosed the problem as a bad alternator. And after getting our approval on a very fair estimate [I called around while deciding] the car was back on the road and we were on our way in less than 3 hours. While we waited they offered to ride us to a local restaurant for a bite. I would highly recommend this company.
