Physical Graffiti Tattoo

I walked into the shop and Rob greeted me and drew up my tattoo exactly how I envisioned it then put it on my skin effortlessly and beautifully, despite my twitching and talking. wonderful artist, professional and easy to talk to, and catches on to what you want done easily. cool, clean shop HIGHLY recommend SEE ROB!!

I have gotten 4 tattoos here, the last 2 were done by Tali. He is awesome! He did a tiger and then a giesha that he designed. I told him about what I was wanting and he did a drawing that was gorgeous! I got it done last week and I am very happy with it. I'm going back to get it finished. I definately will be going back to get some more work done. I think the overall experience was good. Everything was clean and orderly, and everyone seemed very polite. These people are not rude, they have appointments and when they nicely explain this to people, they get pissed. Make an appointment people! This is something that will always be on your body, it should be planned. My experience was good 4 out of 4 times. so, odds are they will continue to be good. Beautiful work, clean and sanitary, polite patient people, I would recommend it for sure.

Go see Shane or Brandon for a quality tat. Highly recommend those 2 guys.

Went in to check the place out and ended up leaving shortly thereafter. I didn't even get any work done there but if their work is as bad as their attitudes, you'll be f--ked up. Also, their shop hours are until 10PM on Saturday but they were leaving at 8:48PM....very confused by that. At any rate, take your money elsewhere where it will be appreciated.

I must say Shane is the best Tattoo Artist !! I will definitely be going back to him for my 2nd one. My Husband and Daughter also Love his work. I highly recommend Shane to anyone that is interested in getting a Tattoo !!!

They must have good business because they sure as do not want any new customers. Me and my bestie was there to get tattoo no one was there but the tattoo artist(Shane) was to lazy to give us tattoos so he gave us this bs about how booked he was and preceded to sit there and talk on the phone and sit around on the recliner for there next hour ...so we went to Tattoo warehouse in Spartanburg were Michael hunter gave me an awesome tattoo...

I've been going to Physical Graffiti for years. I've had 14 tattoos done there total, and LOVE every one of them. The only mistake I ever made in tattoos was going elsewhere for one, because I was impatient (they occasionally get busy--but its worth the wait, TRUST ME). Over the years some of their artists have come and gone, but they always remain consistent in the ability of the artists they hire. Brandon Pettit is a current favorite of mine--he's the best kept secret in the upstate's tattoo industry. His work is simply amazing. Its as good and BETTER than anything you'll see on tattoo shows such as LA Ink. While Brandon is my favorite, I've been tattooed by five different artists there over the years and every tattoo always comes out well above my expectations. If you want a GREAT tattoo in Greenville, Physical Graffiti is the only way to go.

I'd have to say that i love my tattoo.. I def recommend shane! He does bomb art work! Very nice guy and sweet as well!

I must say, I've been tattooed at alot of different shops. I am heavily tattooed. Brandon Pettit was one of the better experiences I've had, and the first artist to tattoo me in Sc since it became legal years ago. He has a good vision and will give you a blunt honest opinion and perspective on what you decide to have done. It's a VERY clean and very well put together environment. I will going there for the rest of my work in the future. Brandon was great and has a good portfolio in the shop so go check him out!

I have to say, I'm not shocked. I had designs that I drew up for over 15 years, and finally got them done, one week ago. Brandon has a great personality, but he seemed so bored doing my work. Three tattoos, a USAF Star for my Dad, a really nice abstract "zero (the hero)" rust colored for my Mom an amazing artist, and a quote for my wife.. One week later... the star is not completely filled, like I wanted, has some dips into the straight lines, the "zero" is BLACK with some red around it.... WHY was I not watching? Oh yeah, we were watching a movie... apparently together. The quote for my wife looks like he got bored toward the end, and decided to not go deep enough on the lettering, though it is the only one that looks good enough that I have not considered taking my razor sharp Kabar out, cutting them out, and suturing it myself. $225 bucks wasted. Now I have to find a real professional pay them to cover up, fix and darken....I am ashamed of them, so much work was put into it, testing them before doing it. Plus, the professionalism there is completely lacking. Stood there after signing paperwork... wondering what they wanted me to do.. wait.. go break lights in their dumpster... leave... what a "great professional" group.. I'd rather get prison quality tattoos. Those look much better than this.

Great job on my tattoo. Not very professional there, but everything seems sterile and up to standards. The artists could watch their potty mouths a little - don't like hearing all that stuff - just stick to the job of tattooing and cut out all the cussing and filthy conversations. A little higher cost than other places also.

PGS is a great place!! Chuck was great contact and Buck did an awesome job on my new piece. He is a true artist and knows what he is doing!! I recommend to anyone getting their first or one of many... GREAT SHOP!

I've been to PGS 4 times and brandon pettit is the man i love all of the work he has put on me its amazing thats all i can say the peole up there are the best. They have 2 artist up there buck and brandon and they both are putting out some amazing work so EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO SEE THEM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This studio has a new crew all old mean people are gone. Thay have some nice people now that will take the time to get you what you need or draw you somthing unique. Buck has been tattooing since 1994.

Got a tatoo 2 weeks ago, had an appointment to come back for the shading, when i got there the owner was like, "oh yeah, he quit yesterday" WTF? No one called me and now I have a half done tattoo - ripped me off since I paid for the WHOLE freaking tat! Wont be going back there to get it done thats for damn sure!

Walked in with computer to show what I wanted. The old man was rude and bossy...then finally got to Rex.

He acted like he didnt give a crap to help us. He looked at the artwork (simple). Said he would do it for $150 to $175 an hour!!

Then he said to go home and print it out and come back. Now I thought they were supposed to do all that for you.

We walked out and said screw this place! They didnt care to get business. Rex is a idiot and I wouldnt give him a dime of my money.

There is a wonderful place in Fountian Inn called Ink Work. They are super nice and kid friendly. Prices were fantastic and the guys were so great! Offered us pizza, we played basketball and they actually treated us like family. I recomment that place!

Rex is the only good thing about this shop. The owner is a stuck up prick. He can act that way now, but just wait till another shop opens up. i will work their and put pg out of business. Just wait.

Terrible! The people that work there are the most rude people. The prices are sky high compared to any other place that I’ve been. I've had several tattoos done at different parlors, as did my friends that went here with me. Everyone felt like they were trying to rip us off while being disrespectful. Just because you’re the only tattoo parlor in Greenville does not give you a right to be mean to the customers and jack up the prices. These people are completely full of themselves and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I went up there twice, and both times with several friends who wanted ink as well. They all feel the same way. If you want a tattoo take the time to drive to Spartanburg or NC! Trinity Tattoo is well worth your time, and they have a much larger selection of art. If you're getting something on your body for life you should at least have an artist that cares about their art, and not how much they can put in his/her wallet.

I got a tattoo there from phil 2 weeks ago - awesome!! Now I'm going in 2 days with my husband and my mother and we are all getting inked!! AWESOME WORK!!!! Definitely recommend.

i would not send any body to this shop. reasons,people are rude, they are extremly over priced.work is really not all that good.its just and all around bad shop.
