The installation went very smoothly. Quoted me a reasonable price, much better than any other local plumber. I highly recommend Sweetman's!

Used Sweetmans a couple times previous with very happy results. Unfortunately, this last time, I was happy with the result, but not the price. They didn't have the part necessary so they ran out to get it. It took them almost 1.5 hours to return (left at 11:30 came back around 1pm) with the part. Installation went fine, but come to find that I was charged 90/hr while the plumber was getting the part. I called the owner and was told they would review it on Monday when the paperwork was submitted and call me back. I also requested a quote on a replacement hot water heater. I was never called back. No follow up on my concern despite being a repeat customer.

I recently had my 12 year old, 40 gallon, natural gas hot water heater completely rupture. Water poured out all night long and I woke up to quite the flood. I called a lot of local plumbing companies to get prices for a replacement with installation and Sweetman's Plumbing had the best price out of every company in the Gainesville, GA area. I had also heard good things about them so I decided to have them do the job. They gave me a quote on the phone and that is exactly, to the penny, what they charged me. None of that quote one price, do the job, then charge another. They told me that they were very busy and if it would be alright if they could come the next day. Not having hot water is more of an inconvenience than I ever imagined so I said I really needed it done that day. They found a way to fit me in and showed up exactly when they said they would.



My plumber was Keith and he did an amazing job and was very pleasant to talk to while he did the job. I really wanted to see the entire process and asked him if it would be alright if I watched him work and he was so polite and said he wouldn’t mind at all. I know, from my job, that having people stand over you while you work can be a real pain, but Keith didn’t mind at all and I enjoyed talking to him while he worked. To top off the great job he did, it took less time than I originally thought it was going to take for him to finish.



He wrote me up an invoice, I called Sweetman’s office to pay over the phone using a credit card and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Everybody I talked to was very helpful and polite. If I ever need any plumbing done they will be the first call I make. If I know anybody that needs some plumbing work done I will tell them that Sweetman’s should be the first call they make. I have heard some horror stories about plumbers and the work they do, but Sweetman’s Plumbing is a grade A business and I’ll never use anybody else. I have used Sweetmans for the last 12 years from everything from backed up septic tank to remodeling bath installation. They are honest, dependable, knowledgable and available.

My latest plumbing misadventure occured on a Sunday afternoon. I was literally ankle deep in sewage in my lower level bathroom. I called Sweetmans and they were here in about an hour. Keith had it diagnosed and cleared in an hour and a half. The charge was very fair. I would have understood if it was signifigantly higher since it was a Sunday.

I only wish that all companies that offer home repair services that I have dealt with were as skilled, honest and pleasant to deal with.
