She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Caracas, Venezuela where she achieved her Dental Degree at the Central University of Venezuela in 2000. Dr. Cohen then completed a four-year internship at the Santa Rosa Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center in Caracas. She later completed her postdoctoral program in Oral Surgery with honors at the Central University of Venezuela.
Maxillofacial Surgery
Dr. Cohen worked in a private practice at the Santa Rosa Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center in Caracas before moving to South Florida, where she completed 3 years of advanced training in periodontics and implant dentistry. She received her Certificate in Periodontics from Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
