        Overall

        Higdon & Hale had a major data security breach this Spring that exposed sensitive customer information (including account numbers). Their response to the problem has been cavalier at best and has cost significant time and money. In communication with them, it exposed major security flaws, lack of reasonable financial protection (cyber insurance), and an unwillingness to provide adequate assurances that the systems and personal information are now secure. On top of this there are better accountants for the money. Steer clear of Higdon & Hale.
