I was pleased with the work done by Acorn Tree Care. They took care not to cause any damage to my fencing when they dropped branches and not to leave ruts in my dirt driveway with their heavy equipment. The price was more than fair, they showed up when they said they would, they raked the yard clean, and Dave even came back a few weeks later (as promised) to take down a dangling branch that was overlooked the first time. I would not hesitate to use them again.
I would recommend Acorn Tree Care to anyone. Dave, the owner, was very professional and personable. They did a great job. By the time they were done cleaning up, you did not know there was ever a tree there. If you want a great job, then call Acorn.
I hired this company to do a job for me. The owner seems ok and gave me a reasonable estimate. I hired him to do the job for 2 reason - one he was personable and seems honest; two his pricing. The job was started but it took about a month for him to do half of what he promise he would do. Giving him and his company the benefit of the doubt i waited patiently for him to finish but he never did. Then he called me to pay him. When I said he wasn't finished he told me he never said he could do what he had said he could do. Although I paid his company, I was pretty disappointed. I would not recommend his company or use him ever again. I would say skip Acorn and find other companies that can do the job.
