An exceptionally clean place with an awesome atmosphere and very friendly helpful staff. Absolutely the best place to get a tattoo from amazing artists. Everyone needs to go visit this great place. In all honesty this establishment doesn't even deserve a single star. I came here to get my conch pierced, along with my friend, and we both suffered from SERIOUS infections. We both ended up coming in to have it looked at only for the cashier girl to tell us we looked "fine". BOTH of us had to come to the ER, BOTH of us had to receive surgery, along with a plethora of antibiotics, and BOTH of us were at a high risk of sepsis. Coincidence? I think not. This place is clearly inadequate at keeping their tools sanitary and I would NEVER recommend someone to come here. As for their reply on another review, coming up with excuses and not owning up to their wrongs only shows what kind of work ethic they have present here. This has hands down been the worst experience of my life, and that's saying a lot.

I've been getting pierced here since the day I turned 18. I'm 23 now and as long as I'm in gainesville this is where I will get my piercings! Friendly, knowledgable staff.

I've been here on 4 different occasions getting piercings and they are always nice and professional. They never rush you to make a decision and always answer your questions without giving you the run around. I have recommended them ever since I moved to Gainesville and will never go anywhere else!

Going to Bodytech was a great experience. I went in last night for a tattoo not really sure what to get, had an idea that i got off of Pintrest, after talking to one of the artists about the design i decided to let them design me something that would be just for me, my design, custom! the design was amazing! way more than i could have imagined could be done in tattooing. they got to me pretty quick considering i was just a walk in, they got the drawing ready while i waited and i even opted to get my navel pierced while waiting. Melissa is an AMAZING piercer BTW. The tattoo was done in a very clean atmosphere it was a great price, less than i expected and everyone was AWESOME. I look forward to having more stuff done at BODYTECH and suggest that if you are in the market for some top quality stuff that you go here too.

Awesome place. Everyone is so helpful, and really professional. My friend got her dermals done here and they are perfect. They really care about the customer.

Great Tattoos, Great Piercings, Great Prices, Great people!

Wouldn't trust my skin to anyone else. There is a reason they have been here for over 16 years.

I went to body tech accross the street with a small, but reasonably doable, font size and the guy I talked to said it would be $100-150, and that the font would have to be about three times bigger due to "blending" of the letters. I went across the street to Addiction Tattoo and Piercing and they laughed when they heard what they said at Body Tech. They ended up doing it on my back, with the original size, for half the price.

This is a great place to get your first tattoo!

My best friend and I went here to get our matching love infinity tattoos, Keith did them, and had to work and plan around our hectic schedules and they turned out absolutely amazing. I've been to Addiction many times! Had a custom piece done, and an old tattoo redone, both by Keith. By far the best shop in Gainesville. All the artists are great. Friendly, professional atmosphere. Would not send anyone anywhere else!

Hands down best work. I had two tattoos done on 08/24/14 by Keith and I won't be using anybody else. Just a great experience. I will be doing a half sleeve and will go to Addiction and Keith to have it done!!!!!

I had an awesome experience at Addiction! I got a cover up done and could not be happier with my ink. Keith did an amazing job and I will definitely be going back to him for more work. Chris, ("Spaz" but he ain't no spaz when it comes to tattoos) finished my half sleeve Dragon last night, 12-11-12. We started in early November, and after that sitting waited a month for proper healing until we finished up. Quite a large detailed piece!! It is simply fantastic; utterly lifelike and 3 dimensional, not to mention the crazy sick colors and scales popping out from the Dragon's body and face.

Yes, the Dragon has vicious claws and is gaurding a really ancient orb!!!

Chris, (and I am sure all his associates) are the real deal....No one does it better...By the way this was a cover-up of a previous Dragon. That was no easy task to completely cover that ugly big old bad boy up; but he is now extinct, at least from my arm!!!. I wish you could see this one, so I guess you should visit the Addiction's website.

By the way, the shop is very reasonable in their pricing, and Spaz seemed much more concerned about getting my tattoo as near perfection as possible, rather than him being all about the money!!! You get the idea how I feel about Addictions by now!! This is the place to go for your next tat....As my Mom used to say: Trust me you won't be disappointed! I am just waiting for this one to heal then on to more mystical creatures....Spaz drew up a pretty nice one that will go either on my forearm or make another half sleeve!!!! Hey some people go to museums, some wear their own art; I do both and, am getting addicted, pun intended!!!

This was my first time going here. People were very nice and chill. Took about 20 minutes from the time I walked in the door to the time I walked out. Nice jewelry selection and Justin is excellent at what he does. He was seamless. Made me feel very comfortable and made sure to go over how to keep my new piercing clean and healthy! I would definitely recommend these guys. Fast Friendly and Thorough!
