National Grid detected a gas leak in our home and turned off the gas. They required us to hire a licensed master plumber to come to our home to find and fix the leak before they could turn the gas/heat back on. Paul Buttermark was at our door the next morning, gave us a quote right away and they were working the next day. His employees were timely, courteous and left our house neat, as if they hadn't been there. They allowed us to quickly get our gas turned back on and would highly recommend them.

i have seen their Trucks on 2 of my neighbors homes and i asked one and he said they were very good . so i decided to use them because i was so sick of a plumber my family and i used for years .

i called and said they would call me when a spot opened up . and in one hour a crew of 2 professionals were at my door and ready to work .

i showed them a toilet that was put in by my previous plumber that was leaking through the basement sealing when flushed .
They went to work at full speed showed me the problem that the toilet was out of line ( which i had know by just looking at it , the toilet was installed 7 years ago ) when they removed it the plaster base was not done right , the wax washer was not making correct contact and was full of smelly black mole !

after cleaning the mess with bleach and re installing the toilet properly they even re grouted some of tile joints !

Buttermark is now my PLUMBER!!

TRUE I HAS ONE PLUMBER FROM THEM I DID NOT CARE FOR ! BUT HE NO LONGER WORKS THERE .

THE MANAGER PAUL IS A NO NONSENSE GUY , IF YOU DO NOT LIKE SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR PLUMBING JOB PAUL WILL MAKE IT RIGHT , I KNOW I ONCE DID NOT LIKE I SMALL PART OF AN GAS LINE INSTALLMENT OF A GAS BARBECUE LINE I CALLED HIM AND HE WAS AT MY HOUSE THE NEXT DAY!!

HE SAID I WILL SEND SOMEONE OUT LATER TODAY AND MAKE IT RIGHT .

ANOTHER PLUMBER CAME AND PUT IN A SMALLER TURNOFF VALVE AND MADE A HOOK TO HOLD THE EXTRA HOUSE ON THE BARBECUE AND THE JOB WAS PERFECT AND NO EXTRA CHARGE !!!!!

JANUARY 11 2020 THE WATER HEATER STARTED LEAKING I CALLED ANGELA AT BUTTERMARK THEY CAME AT 12 NOON AND GAVE ME A PRICE $$$ 300 CHEAPER THEN A BIG BOX STORE THAT I WAS QUOTED THAT MORNING !!

BY 2 0'CLOCK THAT SAME DAY BUTTERMARK INSTALLED THE WATER HEATER AND BEFORE LEAVING DONNY , AN ACE PLUMBER , NOTICED THE OLD TURNOFF VALVE HAD A SLOW LEAK . I SAID """IS THAT EXTRA ?""

HORRIBLE - Couldn't handle the work themselves, brought in another company to do it and I was charged twice - Won't return my calls to discuss refund - NEVER USE THESE GUYS!!! Giving them 1 star b/c I have to - wish I could give negative stars...

Shoddy work; doesn't reply to phone calls; unfriendly receptionist. Will not repair the flood that they created. Will not use again; do not recommend.

I needed a new water heater on a Saturday. I called at 11:30AM, they were here by 1PM, and it was installed by 2:15PM. Reasonable price too. I can't ask for anything more.

Louis Buttermark Inc. was wonderful. They installed a new water heater in my house, and gave me great advice, told me all of my options, and gave me a great estimate. They came on time at 8 am, did exceptional work, cleaned up and I was happy with the service all around, would highly recommend them.
