Engine oil: The best thing you can do to make your engine last longer is to regularly and consistently change the oil and filter. Over time your engine will begin to consume some oil, however having to add 1 quart every 2000 miles is not considered excessive. We recommend checking your oil level frequently, and following the manufacturer’s recommended oil change schedule. If you are not sure how often you should change your oil, just give us a call.
Engine Replacement
Engine Diagnostic
Many auto parts stores advertise “Free Check Engine Light Diagnosis” but, that is a misleading statement. They are not actually diagnosing the problem. They are just reading a diagnostic code, and recommending the parts that are most likely to fix your problem. We often get people in our shop because they have already spent hundreds of dollars on parts, without resolving their problem. Modern vehicles are very complex, so we prefer to see you spend your money a proper diagnosis, that shows you what your vehicle actually needs. We are not able to offer a proper diagnosis for free, because it can be a lengthy process.

At The Auto Shop, we have a complete state of the art electronic diagnosis center, where we are able to determine precisely what is wrong with your vehicle. After a thorough diagnosis, our highly skilled technicians will provide you with premium quality auto repair services, at reasonable prices.

Auto Maintenance
We all know somebody with an older, high-mileage vehicle that just keeps on running year after year. You might be wondering; “What’s their secret?” Regularly scheduled maintenance and lubrication using the manufacturers recommended type and formulation of oil, grease and fluids is what will give you the best results. Wear-and-tear on parts such as belts or hoses is normal. You should replace them before they fail.
