        Overall

        Sea Cure Bekins Moving Company arrived on time to my location. I had a number of boxes and bins that where very heavy - the team handled them very well with care and caution where needed. My furniture included a heavy cabinet and dresser that the movers handled with extreme care. I have to say that this company exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I will highly recommend using Sea Cure Bekins ! Way to go guys & Thanks !

        Moving was so stressful for my family and I. I was dreading it! After we "shopped" around we decided that Sea Cure Bekins Moving Company was the best choice. They were all so great! Took the time to answer all our questions and made us relax a little bit. They helped us finish packing which was a huge life savor! Time snuck up on us. The guys on moving day were so friendly and hard workers. We agreed on our price and there were no surprises at the end. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trusted company!

        The only reason I am giving a single star (rather than zero) is because the young guys at the shop were great and helpful.



        Where do I begin? A company like this is the reason movers get a bad name!



        1)Moving day, and a completely different company arrives to move us! We were never told they were subbing it out to another contractor, nor did anything on our paperwork say anything about this company (in this case, Anchor Movers).

        2)The truck arrived at our final destination a week after the latest date it was scheduled to arrive.

        3)Many things never even arrived (two mattresses!).

        4)The Inventory Check-off List was given to us AFTER the entire truck was reloaded into our storage unit, so we will have no idea what else was lost until after we unpack.

        5) MANY items were severely damaged: BEWARE: On the Inventory List when things were loaded, ALL were listed as already being "scratched/damaged, even NEW things!

        6)I was quoted and agreed to a "Not To Exceed" price. They wound up banging us for additional money because the local salesman at Sea Cure did not write down an item we specifically discussed, knowing full well they could get a few extra dollars over and above the "Not To Exceed" price. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM WHEN YOU THINK NOT TO EXCEED MEANS THAT'S THE MOST YOU'LL PAY!

        7) Finally the men from the company that did the actual moving (Anchor)wanted to be paid upon delivery! I had NO CONTRACT with those people! My contract with with Bekins!



        Beware of all movers, and specifically Sea Cure Bekins!
