Absolute best tattoo shop! Ask for Kirk Nitzsche! Kirk has been my artist for the past 8 years and he is amazing! I mistakenly went to a different artist a few years ago and I absolutely hated what he had done to my arm. When I showed it to Kirk he immediately put his creativity and artist skills to work!! He completely recreated it into a work of art and touched up everything! I am so happy to be able to show off my arm again thanks to Kirk! It looks amazing, color and detail are phenomenal! Xoxo!

Everyone was so helpful! Advising me from placement and size and they were very thorough in explaining aftercare for my tattoo! I've come here for all 15 of my piercings and 3 tattoos and have never had a bad experience. Always recommend this shop.

I am giving 2 stars because the nose piercing was relatively painless which was a big deal for me, so kudos! However when the guy marked my nose, I questioned the placement and he said, "That's the right spot. There's not much wiggle room." Since this was my first pricing, I just trusted. I should have done my research because looking online and talking to people with nose permit conga, there is plenty of wiggle room. He was pretty short in general which makes sense for a tattoo parlor, but for the people who come in getting their first unique per icing, I think it would be nice to have someone who takes a little more time to consider placement and considering someone's questioning. I paid $40 and will be removing it and going somewhere else to get it redone.

I walked into Threshold with an idea of what I wanted in my head hoping someone could piece it together perfectly for me. Lucky for me Ryan was able to do that. Ahhhmazing work. I had an awful tattoo on my left shoulder that I wanted covered. Not only did he do a phenomenal job making sure that the entire tattoo was covered and wouldn't be visible but he was able to incoporate it as part of the rest of the tattoo I was wanting from shoulder to hip. Three sessions later I finally have a piece I am proud to show off and no more blobbish mess. Not only is he an exceptional artist, he is also a very easy guy to chat with and makes you super comfortable. I already have him drawing up ideas for my next tattoo. I have found myself an artist for life!



The shop itself is extremely clean and the staff are all awesome. My boyfriend actually decided to have some work done there too after seeing my progress and how friendly and accommodating everyone was. Definitely a place I recommend to anyone and Ryan is definitely an artist I would suggest to any and everyone! Big thanks go out to him and the entire staff!

I've gone here plenty of times for myself and with my friends. The tattoo artists here are very very friendly, patient, and professional. They do great work! It is the cleanest tattoo place I have ever been to! They have tons and tons of pictures to look at for options and they will keep re-drawing a picture until they get it just perfect for you! They are outstanding!

Called ahead afternoon of 10/30/10 and very specifically asked if they would do a wedding band tattoo and was told yes. Drove all the way out there only to be told the person who had agreed to do it had changed their mind and refused to do it. Not only did they lose that business but the business of the 2 other people who were with me. We didn't see any other customers during the 15 to 20 minutes we waited to be told no. Why not just say no on the phone? I might have still gone for other tattoos, but they let us get all the way there before deciding not to do the work. I won't go back.

I've gone to Threshold for all 3 of my body piercings, going to get another tomorrow. and will go there for future tattoos. I will NOT go anywhere else. They are so nice and the place is so dang clean. I love it. Have never had a problem. I highly recommend them.

It was my first tattoo so I'm not exactly sure what would be cheap and what would be expensive but just for a nautical star on my right shoulder I thought $150 was a bit steep. But as aforementioned it was clean, professional, and the tattoo artist was very kind. He understood that this was my tattoo and could accommodate to my slight twitches without a single mistake. I'd still recommend it.

way over priced for such little work. I have got two tats from them when they were new and friendly!! they were reasonabliy priced then. now they want money thats it they seem more like money hungry salesman they artists.
