Associated Family Physicians Of Boca Raton

I have been a patient for years. Dr. Utamsingh is my doctor. The reception staff is excellent, especially Valetta, and there are no issues with appointments, getting prescription refills, getting surgical clearances, etc. Dr. Utamsingh is by far the best doctor that I have ever seen in my life. He always takes the time to explain my case, his recommendations, and my options clearly, and to answer any questions that I might have. Also, he goes that "extra mile" to let me know about upcoming research etc. that relates to my case. It has always been obvious to me that this is a professional who cares about what he does, and enjoys his work and helping people. Join this practice and you will not regret it.

I'm very impressed with the care I receive there. The staff is very professional and pays great attention to detail. Definitely recommended as they are true professional who excel at their craft. One of the premier medical offices in Boca!!!

Dr. Mitchell Goldstein is the absolute best doctor in the area! He has been my family's doctor for the past 30 years and he will be greatly missed when he leaves this group. Professional. Knowledgeable. Experienced. Compassionate. It will be extremely difficult for my family to find another doctor as capable as Dr. Goldstein to take his place.

I've only had the best experience with Dr Goldstein my boyfriend recommended him to me in 2009 I feel the office staf in professional and anytime I needed to come in for an emergency I always get an appointment with someone if Dr Goldstein is booked, He has an extension always gets the message I get a call back in less then 2 hrs I'm completely satisfied and will not ever go anywhere else I no my health is taken care by Dr Goldstein

I have been going to Debra Constantino for about the last 8 years. I have had several health issues and I feel that she really cares about me and my well being. She takes her time with me and talks to me and listens. She never rushes in and out and out like some doctors Every specialist that she has recommended to me has also been very professional and pleasant to deal with. I recommend Debra to everyone I know.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mitchell Goldstein since 1981. My only fear is that he will retire before I die! However, I have been seen by other doctors and P.A.'s in the office and have been very satisfied. My son is 47 years old and has been a patient of Dr. Goldstein since he was eleven years old. Now his wife is also a patient. He has been a lifesaver for me and for my son. Diagnosed a condition my son had at 11 that I had been to many specialists trying to find out what he had. He knows my entire medical history as well as my son and always asks about our special issues. My daughter-in-law is a patient of Dr. Altman and is very comfortable with her and confident of her abilities.

We have always enjoyed the atmosphere and helpfulness of the employees. I would not trust my health to any one but Associated Family Physicians of Boca Raton. I moved from Boca Raton in 1990 but still go to them for all medical needs.

I think they are In a hurry to get the job done. No friendly conversation, no warm at all. They all like robot.

I am a new patient to this office and could not be any happier about the service I received. I saw the physicans assistant Jessia Dumas and will be referring anyone in need of a primary care office to her. She listened and discussed my concerns and reassured me throughout the appointment. She made me feel comfortable and important. They provide blood work results in a timely manner and speak clearly when explaining everything. Anyone who has had a poor experience must have been there at the wrong time. All of the staff was excellent. Given they deal with ill or difficult people day in and day out I could not tell by the treatment I received. Thank you, Catherine.

Both Angela and myself think very highly of Dr. Altman. She is doing an excellent job of keeping us healthy. She has referred us to specialists where necessary. We are very pleased with the service.

I have been a patient of Associated Family Physicians for over 20 years. Each and every experience has been wonderful. The Doctors and Practitioners are great, I believe in over 20 years although I mainly see Dr. Altman who is so kind and compassionate I have seen all the Providers and have receive excellent care. The staff is always pleasant and they go out of their way to help especially if you are having a problem. I would and have highly recommended Associated Family Physicians to friends and family. Thank you to Associated Family Physicians for always being there when I need you.

The Front Desk:



Starting with the front desk, and yes, believe or not they are the beginning to the nightmare that is this office. It looks as if Meggie and I are on the exact same page (does that tell you something?)! These women are rude and lack the social capacity to deal with patients and/or anyone. I took off work for a sick visit, which I called and scheduled an apt. for. When I arrived at the office they had no record of my visit. After arguing for close to 45 mins that I made the apt and I couldn’t take off another day of work, I was forced to wait over an hour just to see the doctor.



The Billing Department:



I have never gone to an appointment, and not been able to pay the 25 dollar copay (I might be a student but I also hold down a job and can afford a 25 dollar copay or I would go to a free clinic). Months after my last appointment with them I received a bill for 10.00. So I called up and asked what it was for. The lady who picked up, not only was incredibly rude but for 15 mins, she couldn’t figure out why I owed them money. After what sounded like she became frustrated, she informed me that she BELIEVED I didn’t pay my entire copay. I asked her if she had any way to prove that, because I was in NY and didn’t have access to my receipts, but I was positive I didn’t owe them anything. She told me the bill was my proof (all it says is what you owe, not what it’s for) while I was protesting she interrupted me and said, “ok then, let it go to collections” and hung up. Sitting next to my mother, she had the right idea (I don’t want my name on collections so they can screw up my credit for 10.00, and it would be at least a week before I was home to argue the bill) just pay it, it’s only 10.00.



The Doctors:



The reason you are even looking at this site. Stay far away from these “doctors”, I don’t know how they became licensed but someone should take their licenses away asap (it would make Florida a bit safer)! To begin, one time I came in with a rash that covered my legs, obviously I was very concerned. The doctor, and I use the term loosely, I saw diagnosed me with chickenpox; not only my doctor but three other doctors from the practice injected their opinions with the same conclusion. I am 23 years old and I have had the chicken pox; my bewildered parents flew me home to see my actual dermatologist who laughed and said it was a rash. Now this would have been funny, if they didn’t start treating me for chickenpox. Now getting to the reason I’m on here, what really pushed me over the edge, (as if the rest wasn’t enough?) This past summer I was having difficulties with my tonsils. I went into the office (insert scary music here). They told me after treating me for tonsillitis twice (once they had to medicate me twice for two weeks)that I would HAVE to have my tonsils out and not to come back in for medication because I needed them out, period. They also tested me to make sure I didn’t have mono because of my throat. I flew back home to NY to see my real doctor who told me the RULE of thumb (that they teach in medical school) is that you wait a year to see if strep/tonsillitis keeps occurring, then you have them out, if it’s still a problem. They told me after having it twice in a month and a half that they HAD to come out. Also, It took them over a month to get back to me with the results of my mono test; Look up mono if you don’t know what it is, that’s crazy irresponsible of them. While this was all going on,( remember I said they had to medicate me twice for one episode of tonsillitis?) Jessica made a mistake writing my prescription, so I called up trying to get it fixed; now I will not lie, I wasn’t the happiest of patients, but the nurse hung up on me MULTIPLE times!!! (in a doctor’s office?!- that’s appalling)
