As a successful restaurateur specializing in seafood for nearly 30 years, owner Ray strives to provide his customers with the very best in taste and quality. Located in the heart of the Tri-City Bay Area, Ray’s Crab Shack prides itself on only serving live crabs and lobsters that will keep you coming back for more. Dining with us is not your typical restaurant experience. As you devour our boiled crustaceans drenched in one of our delicious homemade seasonings, prepare yourself to get a little messy and have a lot of fun. Eating with your hands with gloves and bibs on, you get to be a kid again. Ray’s Crab Shack, a 200 -seat restaurant, is a family atmosphere. We offer our diners a relaxing, inviting ambiance and a mouth-watering menu. Additionally, we have a banquet room which can easily accommodate 70-80 people. For party of 8 or more, please call us for reservations.

Dining with us is not your typical restaurant experience. We do not serve utensils, so you must eat with your hands. We *do* provide bibs and gloves, however we recommend that you don’t wear any clothing that you don’t want to get dirty because it can still get messy very easily.


If there are 7 or more in your party, please call ahead of time (510-792-8808) to make a reservation. Additionally, we have a banquet room which can accommodate 60-80 persons for big parties.
