        I attended the first steps pistol orientation on 3/6/13 taught by Al

        Anderson. Great instructor. My wife is interested in siging up for the

        class and would like to attend the next available class taught by Al.

        I've had an old Remington Spee...

        I've had an old Remington Speedmaster 522 autoload 22 cal. rifle for about 40 years, mostly for target shooting and plinking tin cans. I haven't fired it for years

        and my wife was concerned that our young grandkids might find it and try to play with it so she asked me to get rid of it. No problem since it had been sitting around for years and I lost my facination for firearms anyway, about 10 years after I got out of the USMC in 1965. I found a local gun shop- Autrey's in Fayetteville. They asked me what I wanted for it; having no idea what it was worth I blurted out $50. The gunsmith looked at it for about 5 minutes and came back with a counter-offer of $100! He said it was a fine rifle and Remington still made them. My faith in business people is now restored because he had the integrity to actually give me a fair price for it. Autrey's now has a very nice rifle to sell, ,probably for $180-200 and I am $100 richer since the rifle had no real value to me any more...a true win-win transaction!
