Do not go here!

Dropped off a bumper to be painted on a Thursday and was told it would take 2-3 days to be done. A week later and it still was not ready! No phone call or anything! And when I called to find out what is going, I was talked to like my money and business were not important! I dealt with Laurie who is completely unprofessional and downright rude. As someone who was in sales/customer service, you should never talk to a paying customer is such a manner! Unbelievable!

I took my 1999 Chevy Tahoe to ...

I took my 1999 Chevy Tahoe to be painted at Macco 123 5th st Saddle Brook, N.J. 07663. I was initially pleased at the way my truck was painted but after looking at the job that wasdone I was not so happy at the lack of attention to detail. I took the truck back to Walter Karol @ Macco about a week later because there was a spot on the right rear quater panel that needed attention. He stated that he was not at fault because he didnt do the body work. I said ok and told him to take care of it and he did. All of this took place early October until late October. I told Walter that I wanted my brand new grill painted off the truck. Not only did he not do that but he later states that it was probably broken before he got it. He installed the new grill on the truck proceeded to paint it and painted my radiator and horn. I left specific instructions for him to follow and he didnt I was less than happy to say the least. The roof of my truck was not sprayed totally and the right rear passenger door had over spray of a diffferent color. It looks like a primer color gray in color. I went to talk to Walter and told him I was less than pleased today 11NOV2011. I pointed out the imperfections and he was insulted immediately and took the defensive. He tried to blame the guy who did the body work. I told Walter that you were the one who took the job to fix the quarter panel and I was under the impression that you were going to take care of it, needless to say the spot came back after Walter fixed it. Walter tried to back out of the work that he did and didnt own up to it. Then Walter tried to make light of it, like it was the guy who did my body work. He said something to the affect of " well the body guy must be a friend of yours". I knew then I didnt want to business with Walter anymore. I thought that Walter and I related to each other prior to today like men. I no longer feel that way, I now feel like I was blinded. I shook Walters hand reluctantly and said "dont even worry about it" and left. I spent $1,131.57 on a paint job that I am less than thrilled about. Ive never been more insulted by another man. I was just trying to explain how I felt. I didnt raise my voice at Walter but I did have to let him know that he wasnt going to raise his voice at me. I hope that your other franchise owners know how to deal with others better than this.
