Bigg Daddys Restaurant & Tavern

Good food, good service and very good entertainment.
We spent Saturday May 16th, 2020 in Helen and went to Bigg
Daddy's for dinner. The wait was about 20 minutes. The Waitress was friendly and efficient. She kept our drinks full and checked on us in a timely manner.
The food was very good. My wide got the shrimp tacos and I got the fish and chips. Both came out in the expected amount of time. The flavors were very good. The tacos were seasoned just right, the fish and chips were good, tender and flaky. We stuck around for the entertainment, a man and woman who really did a great job. The music was nice, a very chill vibe.
We had n o complaints at all. In fact, we are planning another trip to Helen to do some hiking and maybe some ziplining and we are looking forward to returning to Bigg Daddy's for dinner again when we do.

Helen has much better food and much better respect for patrons than Bigg Daddy's. Better off walking on down the street. The place smells of cigarette smoke.

After a downward change of management the place has gone down hill. I'll give the food a 75 and the wings a 30. If your not a 'local' your an outsider and they only want your money. The place has potential but only after big changes and till then I'll not go back and waste my money. Helen deserves better than this...
