Recently i bought a car from GMC in rivergate. I only had the car for two weeks now, when i noticed antifreeze spots on the driveway. I called A1 Nashville Transmission via a good friend and took my car to them the next day. A1 found the problem ( water pump ) and fixed it the same day for half of what a chain mechanic would have charged me. My hats off to A1 for the quick find and fix.

My Step Daughters car broke do...

My Step Daughters car broke down in Murfreesboro. I call Nashville Transmission and they said they would go pick it up for Free. They did. The car wouldn't even drive, the engine was messed up and the transmission wasn't working right. I thought the car was done for. So when Rick call me back after looking at the car he told me what is was going to cost to fix it and I was so surprised. The price was 1/3 the price I was expecting to pay. So I told him to go ahead and he had the car back and running the next day. Car is still running great. He even went a replaced the light bulbs in the rear taillight. All I can say is they are good people. I highly recommend them to anyone. They may not be a big chain but they have better service based on my experience with them.

I took my car to this shop. The owner was a very sweet loving adorable man who was very helpful to me. He offered to take me to lunch while car was being looked at. As a woman it is nice to have a strong and gentle man to help work on my undercarriage and ball joints(whatever that is) and checked my rear-end at no additional charge. He also asked to check my oil and see if I needed lubed up. What a sweet guy.

I definitely do not recommend using Nashville Transmission. I had a transmission replaced there and they claimed it was rebuilt and contained heavy duty parts. I made it about 2000 miles and transmission would not shift correctly. I took it to local trusted transmission shop and they tore it down and found that it did not contain any heavy duty parts. In fact many parts that should have been replaced in a typical rebuild were not replaced. Many parts were worn out and solenoids were not working properly. I saw the parts myself. The transmission shop couldn't believe it! The transmission case was not even for a 4x4..... it was for a 2wd truck. Bolts were loose and parts were missing. I totally got ripped off in what I thought was a good reputable transmission shop. All the above discrepancies were documented and noted and I am planning to approach them about getting my money back. I will give them a chance to settle this before trying additional legal approaches.
