This is the most unprofessional real estate company I have ever had to do business with. The realtor called me to tell me the apartment was mine that my application was chosen and come in with a cashiers check. I go in to give her the check and all of a sudden there's issues application that I need to speak with the broker and owner Mark Mcnallly. He calls me and is completely rude and obnoxious to me , telling me he needed more financial information, but that he had 5 other applicants to give the apartment to and he wasn't holding out for me . I told him his realtor Whitney promised me the keys in 5 days and I had given my 30 day notice and had movers coming . He told me that his realtor never offered the apartment to me. Essentially that I'm lying . I told him how come then did I show up with a cashier check for the amount Whitney told me ? He said I was trying to secure an apartment that was never mine. Since then I left him a voicemail that I had of Whitney offering the apartment to me . He told me if I didn't like it to come in and get my application fee and go do business somewhere else. Also within a week of filing my application they raised the rent from 775$ to 850$. I am a very reasonable person just trying to rent an apartment , if he needed more paperwork I would've happily provided that. I told him at the apartment complex now managed by Evans that we were there for 5 years and was never had an issue paying rent , he told me " well then go rent from Evan's property management" . He was so rude and condescending that I was upset for days over this matter. Do yourself a favor and don't do business with Empire Realty, mark McNally and Whitney S.
