Employment Development Department

I needed to take a typing test and get a certificate with a lot of things on it in order to submit some applications online. I tried to call around to many different locations in the Victorville area (employment agencies) and this was the only one that I could get through to or that offered this service. I went through about 17 out of 30 suggestions before giving up, they were about number 12. I knew that I could get this service at the local college but that it would cost money and I'd only have about 30-60 minutes per session. I figured I would need quite a few tries to hit my mark so was looking for a free option. I found it here. Totally free and as much time as I needed. It took me about 3 hours over two days but I was able to get it done with no fee and no time restraints, except when they closed of course. I was able to get the certificate exactly the way I needed it even though I had to ask them to write their phone number in as it wasn't on there. The only issue was that nobody would sign my certificate for me the second day I went it. For some reason they said I had to wait for a particular person in the resource room to do it. He did, without issue, but it was strange that only he could sign the certificate. Other than that I was totally pleased with the ease and resource that this place provided. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing a typing certificate.
