A Dogs Best Friend

I called to schedule an appointment to have my dog groomed and was told that they could not take her that day but could take her the following day. I replied that I was going out of town but if they could schedule her at 8:00 am and have her done by 10:30 I could make that work. They assured me they would have her done by then so I took the appointment. I arrived with my dog just before 8:00 as scheduled. The groomer was not there at that time but I was told she would be there if she had an appointment so I left my dog with plans to pick her up at 10:30.

I received a call from the groomer at 9:15 asking if I could leave my dog until later. I told her that I had explained when making the appointment that I had to have her done by 10:30 as we were leaving to go out of town. She said they had accidentally over booked for the morning and could not have the dog done by then. If was very clear from the phone # she was calling from and the background noise that she was calling from her car. She obviously had never shown up for the appointment and then rather than be honest was attempting to lie her way out of it. I asked her why if she was overbooked with appointments was she out driving in her car and was given another excuse for her not being at the Kennel to do the grooming. I immediately went over and picked up my dog without having her groomed. If that's how they choose to run a business, with such a lack of professionalism, I

would never want to actually use their service. It was bad enough they had messed up the appointment but then to lie about it rather than accepting responsibility was truly appalling.
