Bubba's Hairstyling

This salon has no receptionist and the stylists answering the phone have no idea how to properly schedule an appointment or general knowledge of the cost of a simple hair cut. I have made two appointments with Bubba only to have them cancelled one day prior to my appointment because those scheduling the appointments couldn't do their jobs properly. The first was cancelled because of a "scheduling conflict" and the second was because the person scheduling didn't allow for enough time for my hair cut. Bubba doesn't take the time to call himself to apologize and reschedule, he has someone else do it instead. I guess his time is worth more than mine.

I went with a bridal party to have our hair all done. The bride paid and I felt we were hurried in and out. I was disappointed in the "look" as was the other bridesmaids...We all looked like guys....there was nothing feminine about the styles and it was very disappointing. At the time, no one dared say anything to the other, least of all to disappoint the bride, who later said they weren't what she expected but she thought we liked the styles so she didn't say anything...., so it was kind of too bad with photos and all...



I think in a situation like this, a bridal party, if it's not all updo's the stylists should stick somewhat close to the girls normal style, just make it nicer....not try to make her look like something she's not. I'm a girly girl, I felt like a soccer chick....a football player....someone who just took a helmet off...



I haven't been, nor have I recommended this salon since.

The girls were nice...but I wasn't impressed.



Maybe for something other than a special occassion where you can gain a relationship with the stylist....it might work...but....
