        Don't book with them unless you have a lot of time to sit around and wait. I waited for the 4 hour "appointment" and had no phone calls saying they were going to be late, wanted to reschedule or any other courtesy. Then , when I called them, they wanted to reschedule another 4 hour appointment time! That will never happen!



        I would suggest anyone looking for plumbing services look elsewhere!

        Overall

        I called Benjamin Franklin to replace my water heater. They came out within the hour. Very impressive. The plumber was very pleasant. He offered to do the job for $1455. When I declined, his demeanor changed and he walked out. I subsequently gave the job to Busto who did a great job for $650. Really, BF? Only giving you one star because that's the lowest allowable.

        I had house repipe done which...

        I had house repipe done which came with a 20 year warranty, cost over $5000, but yet I have to pay $49.00 for them to come to my house. If all parts and labor are covered per paperwork why am I being charged? Customer service reps are rude, one complained about how long she was on the phone with me when she was the one not able to find the warranty information. For the amount of money I paid, I wish I had gone elsewhere. Technicians are great and friendly, customer service not so much

        Don't believe it... the "Free" estimate is only for replacing Hot Water Heaters. Everything else will cost you a service charge of $59. If this company can't be honest about what they consider "Free" what else are they not going to be honest about??

        Yes, we do give free estimates on water heaters and we do have a service fee. How ever, it is lower than $59.There are also times when the service fee is waived if you agree to the work. Maybe you have us confused with another company. We also offer straight forward pricing, you would be informed of the price so you can approve it before we begin any work. We are an upfront and honest company.
