I had cataract surgery on both eyes. I was apprehensive about having the surgery. However the compassion and care I received before after surgery was absolutely wonderful. Starting with the receptionists, nurses, techs, doctors and surgeon, everyone was great. I have trouble getting around and they were so helpful and patient. the Dr. spent plenty of time explaining the surgery.

Loved it because they answer every question that you have. Very courteous, and kind. Nurses were fantastic! I felt at ease and never a worry. Professionalism is off the charts! Highly recommend!

This was the best decision I ever made with my eyes. Missouri Eye Institute is the best and Dr.Osborn is the BEST!! I wish that I had done this earlier. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing and the entire staff was wonderful. If you want LASIK, don't look anywhere else!!

I had a very good experience with Missouri Eye Institute! The doctor and staff was extremely professional, compassionate, and addressed all of my concerns. My cataract surgery went perfectly and I see better now than I ever have! I can't recommend or thank Missouri Eye Institute enough!

My Doctor is Dr. Daniel Osborn and I can't say enough good about him, the staff and The Missouri Eye Institute. It's been 1 Year since I had LASIK Eye Surgery and still amazed and thrilled everyday when I open my eyes. No doubt I would do the surgery again and would absolutely have Dr. Osborn do the surgery. God has blessed him with skills that will change the way you see life. Don't hesitate give them a call you won't regret it.

I'm the caregiver for my father who has dementia. I had received a letter from Missouri Eye Institute saying he had a checkup this morning at 8:45. I took a 1/2 day personal time and we to the senior home to collect my dad. Upon arrival, we're told (rather coldly) that he's not scheduled for today; his next appointment is two weeks out. I knew this was wrong, and I pulled up their letter on my iphone to show her the letter we sent. She waived me off saying "I can't read that. It's too small". I enlarged the date and handed her the phone. Mistakes happen; my intent was to simply find out where this communication broke down so it doesn't repeat. She looked at her computer and said "We called you." I never got a call or a message, and had to prod her to check the numbers they have on record. The primary number was accurate, but the secondary was not. She was already acting aggregated, so we left. Not a "Gee, I'm sorry." or "Let me try to help." Just "We called you." I cancelled my Dad's next appointment. We won't be going back.

I have been diagnosed, proven, catarac removed, cared for during my surgery, and I have been thoroughly cared for! I have Optic Nerve Head Drusin/Lebers Amarosis~~~and I have known for a long time something wasn't right with my eyes. Dr Frances Jansen took one look in my eyes, and told me that I had the above eye disease. Then He took his testing equipment and proved it. He has been a rock in the long battle with a hereditary eye disease.

This place used to be great. I brought my wife here for surgery years ago. Recently, (1-29-14) I brought my mother in for surgery and the experience was horrible! I was told unless I sat in a waiting room (or parking lot) with a screaming baby for two hours they would not do her surgery, although I was only five minutes away with a simple phone call. I understand policy, but everyones circumstances are different. What they fail to realize is they are in a service related industry, so what serves the clients needs best, or the rest of the waiting patients? Would a screaming, crying baby with nothing to do (no baby/kids area) really serve the rest of th clientele in the best manner? No, it would not. Policy is policy, but where is the common sense? I can tell you it is not there. The office manager seemed more concerned with winning a debate, rather than servicing the best needs of a paying client. She waited roughly two hours for nothing. I would not recommend Missouri Eye Institute now. We had a horrible experience! They were not only rude, but seemed to care less whether they had our business or not.
