I went in for a routine cleaning and check up and was told I needed to have a root canal done that day.When I asked about payments, I was told I would be paying 1/2 ($290) that day and the other 1/2 later. I also let them know I have severe anxiety and have panic attacks. No one ever explained anything to me before, during or after, so I had no idea what they were doing in my mouth. During the root canal, they caused me to bleed too much so they had to put in a filling and I had to come back. The dentist barely spoke to and still no one gave me instructions on how to care for the tooth until the next visit. I came back, where they continued the root canal and then informed me that they would be putting in a temp crown rather than the perm one because they had yet to send off for my perm crown, causing another visit. When I went to pay for the 2nd 1/2 of my payment. I was required to pay $440 instead of $290 I was originally quoted. Today I went in to get the perm crown. Again, nothing was explained to me and the new hygienist I had apparently knew nothing about my anxiety even though it should have been in my chart. They then could not get my temp crown out because it was not put in properly the 1st time causing me to panic. The dentist had to come in and cut the temp crown into pieces to get it out of my mouth. Once they put in the perm crown she kept asking me if it felt right to which I kept said no, it did not. Eventually she said it didn't matter and that she was leaving it the way it was. So now I have a tooth that does not feel right in my mouth and hits my bottom teeth anytime I chew causing a very painful sensation. In the end I asked them to refund the amount they overcharged me, and to send my records to another dentists office. Honestly I feel like I should not have paid anything for the poor service/poor quality of work that I was shown during my visits to this office. If you're considering a dentist, please, stay far away from Sunset Avenue Dental.

WORST SERVICE EVER! I went there to do a root cannel and their dentist messed it up. I ended up have to spend another extra 5000 to do an implant. Should have spend a little more for other dentists. Now im in a process of getting a refund and when they tell you they will call you back, DONT TRUST THEM. They don't ever call back unless you have an upcoming appointment! I will never ever go there again.

me and my mother went here nd they kicked us out due to my daughter cryin ive never been to a clinic or dental office where the kick u out cus of a cryin baby so dnt recommend this place for anybody wit kids cus ur kid wnt be able to make any noise at all so im nt goin back
