I came to the MAX10 program over 2 years ago and I was slightly overweight, though I thought I was in OK shape because I ran and rode my bike around town occasionally. A friend of mine brought me to a free trial class to give it a try and by the end of that first hour I was sweating, out of breath, and realizing how out of shape I was! So I signed up for the next session almost immediately. That first 10-week session I learned some of the boxing basics, how to kick bags and thai pads properly, how to use focus mitts – all while getting a fantastic, high-energy cardio workout 3 days a week. Then with the 2 days a week of strength training, I started to gain muscles that I didn’t realize that I had before. I was addicted to the unique format of the classes, the great instructors, and the good friends that I was making in class – nothing was ever boring or the same. I also gained a lot more knowledge about nutrition – so I eat a much healthier diet. Now I don’t hesitate to think that I’m in great shape – probably the best shape that I’ve EVER been in. If you’re looking to get in shape for a special event or just want something a little bit different than the typical gym routine, then I highly recommend the MAX10 program as the place to start. You don’t have to be in good shape when you start, as the instructors and the program work at your current level and help you go up from there.

If you want to get in shape, lose weight, gain stamina and flexibility and have a great time doing it you need to take a Body Sculpting class at MKG. The instruction is tailored to your individual needs. The instructors have the ability to push you when you think you can't go on but not so hard that you can't go on. All the instructors make the class fun. The class we went to in Edmonds was ego free and the environment is very supportive. If you are skeptical, call Nicole and ask if you can get an introductory session.
