Med Stop Urgent Care

I finally decided to go to Medstop after having a fever for 3 days. My wait time was approx. 1 hr. and 45 min. It was worth the wait and after I was seen, I realized I could make an appt. for my next visit. I was seen by Dr. Brian Roberts. He was wonderful and I never felt rushed. He took his time, asking me questions listening to me, and explaining my options in detail. Because I have a new granddaughter, he suggested a test to confirm my virus. That will allow my daughter to let her doctor know and she can be treated accordingly. Dr. Roberts wasn't just compassionate but he also has a great sense of humor! It's wonderful to laugh when you aren't feeling well. He also addressed a minor problem I've been having with my ring finger. It's called, Mallet Finger and usually happens when you're playing baseball. He made some suggestions and hopefully my finger will heal without surgery. He gave me a finger splint, bandages and masks, so as not to breathe on my granddaughter or anyone else for that matter. Also, a prescription for an inhaler, to help make me comfortable. He confirmed, you can't take antibiotics when you have a virus, only if you have a bacterial infection. Thanks to Dr. Roberts and staff, you are awesome and I'm feeling much better!

They told me that I had a Influenza-like illness and sent me home with no meds. Turns out I have influenza A and pneumonia. People are nice, but for the price I paid, I'd rather have had a better diagnosis.

Love the doctor that treated my son. She was amazing. Highly recommend

This place sucks... Never treated like what I had with this place. Doctors are fine but front and back office personnel are inexperience in handling patient care. They don't care if patient is upset. These staff need to under go customer service training. Besides I never waited for almost 4 hours in any urgent care here in central coast except MED-STOP!!!!!!!

I have seen Dr Roberts and other doctos at this urgent care and I love them

This is hands down the best urgent I have ever been to. I met Dr Roberts and he is amazing as well as the staff. You won't be disappointed. I am very thankful they toil amazing care of my son. Thank you Med Stop!!
