Peninsula Childrens' Center

After almost 3 years at Pen, our family is desperately seeking another child care option because of the fundamental instability of the organization, revolving door of staff, and lack of transparency or action by the administration concerning serious safety and health hazards. In the last month alone, 6 teachers have quit because of administration's poor treatment of staff and children. we have learned from first-hand sources the school regularly underfeeds children to save money, does not take appropriate steps regarding serious safety issues, and bullies teachers who speak up. We cannot leave our child in their care after both of our teachers have quit this past week, knowing they were the only ones keeping him safe and even supplementing his meals with their own supplies. Whatever happens with this organization, it will take a fundamental restructuring to remedy the deep-seated problems.
