I joined PLF (132nd Street, Omaha) about a year ago signing up for a two year agreement (ending December 2020). I have been steadily disappointed with the facility and lack of attention to details as far as management goes. I have complained numerous times to the management after working out at the facility and during periodic surveys sent to me. Nothing seems to change after I complain and the same problems continue even though I have had assurances that the items I mention will improve. My #1 complaint is that the soap dispensers in the men's shower area are not getting refilled on a regular basis. I've counted 11 times in the past two months that at least 2 dispensers are totally empty and the others are near empty when this happens. I've come to the conclusion that when this happens going forward I will just refill the dispensers myself with the bottles by the sinks for my own convenience. Other problems I have had (in no particular order): The washing machine that washes towels broke down and subsequently guests were asked to conserve towels. I have paid for one year in advance yet I have received reminders via EMAIL to pay my bill promptly. Showers in the men's locker room break down and are not fixed promptly. One shower was out of service for one entire month. There is one shower with extremely low pressure. The spa in the men's shower area seems to break down frequently and is out of service for a couple of days when this happens. I plan to go elsewhere once my membership expires. I don't want to go to the BBB to complain to get better service but I will if these items do not improve. I feel the agreement and benefits that I signed up for back in September 2018 have been breached up to the point in time. I'm waiting to see what happens during the renovation scheduled between August 25th and August 30th before I escalate my complaint externally.
