Overall
Nancy Inabnett at John Rea Rea...

Nancy Inabnett at John Rea Realty is such a sweet lady and was just a pleasure to work with. We used Nancy to list our home and are so happy we did. She was very caring and personal, making us feel like she had our best interest in mind. When it comes to selling your home, you want to be comfortable with the person representing you and know that they are honest. Nancy embodies those qualities. She was always in touch with us, giving us quick feedback on showings, and never leaving us in the dark about anything. Right after listing our home, someone in my family became seriously ill, and I needed to leave town a lot. Then my husband had to have surgery. Before the illness, I planned on being home most of the time and being available to take my cats out of the house for showings (they don’t get along and their presence would not be beneficial for a showing). Since I could no longer be home very much and then my husband was bedridden for a little while, showings had to be postponed, and Nancy was extremely understanding about it. She worked with us as if it was no trouble at all, and that means a lot. She was also eager to hear our own ideas for promoting the sale of our home and wanted to use them, but the house ended up selling so quickly that we never even got a chance to implement our extra ideas. We liked knowing that our ideas mattered to her though. We loved that she was so genuine, personable, and on top of her game. Nancy is also a woman of strong character. She had a buyer who was close to making an offer on our home when another agent’s buyer drove to our house and told us he was working on getting a loan approval before making an offer. She contacted the other agent to let them know about the competing buyer so that the other agent’s buyer would know to make an offer as soon as possible, giving both buyers a chance for the house. Nancy would get more money if her own buyer bought our house, but she did what was in our best interest. She even said that a lot of realtors would just try to make sure their own buyer got the house so that the realtor would get paid more, but she wanted us to get the best price for our home no matter which buyer bought it. We had a few encounters with other John Rea Realty employees and were very pleased with them also. The folks who call to set up appointments were very nice and up-to-date on our personal situations. (Some other agencies use third-party call centers to set up appointments with sellers, and they are not so personal. They are more like telemarketer calls, mispronouncing your name, not knowing details about you or your realtor, and are sometimes rude. I encountered one of those third-party showing services with a previous selling experience through a different agency.) I like that John Rea Realty is personal because selling my home is personal. One buyer who was looking at our home had some scheduling conflicts and needed to reschedule the showing a few times. Amy Spears (another agent with John Rea Realty) was working with this client, and she called us personally to explain the conflicts, set up the new showing times, and gave us a reminder call about the showing. Amy again displayed how personal John Rea Realty is. We appreciated her diligence with her buyer and her personally keeping in touch with us to iron out any confusion. She also gave quick feedback on the showing to Nancy. John Rea Realty in general seems to be a wonderful company. Your home is the biggest asset you will probably ever have, so when it comes time to sell it, you want someone that really cares about you, stays on top of interested buyers, and keeps you informed. I could not be happier with my experience at John Rea Realty. I previously had a terrible experience when listing my home with an agent from a different real estate agency. I switched to Nancy Inabnett at John Rea Realty, and my experience has been 1000 times better. Thank you!
