        General Info
        Community care Urgent Care and Injury Center has been in business for over 7 & 1/2 years. It was started in December of 1996 by four local physicians who had a vision of a walk-in medical facility with a short waiting period and a friendly staff. In August of 1999 they opened their second doors with a facility in Rexburg. With both facilities receiving such an excellent response from the public, our Rigby location soon followed in April 2003. After years of success, Community Care now has 5 locations to serve the public. The 2 Idaho Falls Family Emergency Centers joined in November of this year, bringing more years of experience and great medical care to our communities.Between all 5 locations Community Care now has 15 physicians with 9 of them as joint owners of Community Care, and 10 mid-level providers. The hours are very convenient ranging in 8-12 hour shifts. At 5 of our locations, patients have the convenience of not making an appointment and walking in when the time best suites them. All of the locations will have the new name Community Care Urgent Care and Family PracticeCommunity Care specializes in non-like threatening medical conditions and Family Practice. Community Care has board certified physicians who are on staff that can treat anything from fractures and lacerations to coughs and colds. Our quality team of healthcare professionals invites you to come see us the next time you are ill or injured. We take pride in the work we've done and the years to come.

        Overall

        I have always been pleased with the service and staff. They are quick, too. Never have had an issue. Clean atmosphere.

        The place reeks like fish sooo bad (both times ive gone) and they don't even have a fish tank! The staff, including the doctors, are RUDE, CARELESS, & LAZY.

        NEVER BEEN TREATED SO BADLY AND RUDE! COMMUNTIY CARE ON UTAH



        Went to community Care today on Utah. I have never felt treated so badly. I felt like the only nurse that even saw me, was not only rude, but acted as if she had absolutely no compassion. I went in with probably anxiety attacks, or a side effect from a medicine I was on. Well, I never even got a chance to discuss the medicine. I never even got to see a Dr. She took my blood pressure, it was slightly high. She told me I had to go to the hospital for a work-up. She never smiled, never had a nice comforting word. She just said I would be a liabilty for them if I did not go to the hospital. They would not do an EKG, and would not get the Dr. I even ask for an EKG. I was in a daze as I left the room. I was scared and not feeling well. She actually looked at me and her last words were, "You can just leave". No Kidding!!! I was so shocked! I felt like I had something wierd about me, or something. I have never been teated like this in my life. The emergency room would have cost me over $1000. So I drove accross town (they are close, that is why I went there), and saw a wonderful Dr. he took the time with me I needed. He was compassionate and ask all about me. He ask about the meds I was on, my life, my stress, and he did an EKQ. I did not have to go to the emergecy room, and I already felt better just being cared for. He new what would help me and I'm going back for a recheck with him in two weeks. I will never go into the Community Care on Utah again!
