I had a Verbal Contract on an item. My name and phone number was taped to it, as we agreed that I would come in the very next day and pick it up. When I went to buy it, they had sold it out from under my nose. She said that the original owner of the pawned item came by and got it back. If a person pawns something the item will be stored away in the back. If that person defaults on his item, Next, the Broker displays that item out for public purchase. So, I should have had first dibbs on it. VERY POOR Public Relations in my view. No, I didn't have any money with me at the time but I and the employee made a Verbal 1 day Contract.... By Law, a Verbal Agreement is viable. What do you think?

The one lady I think is still so hott. Of course with any pawn shop they will Jew you, hell it's even in the name of the business.

Beware when attempting to SELL Silver !! Customary 'buying' prices are usually $2.00 LESS than "spot price", which changes even hourly. Example: "Spot" price is $29.53 currently. A 10 oz. stamped "925.999 bar" should bring $295.30-$20.00=$275.30. I was TOLD By a JG&P sales rep.... "I can give you $8-9 dollars on the ounce... that's all they will let us give". High end... that would be $90.00-- for what should sell for $275.30 ... for a LOSS to the Seller of $185.30 !! (and they can turn around and sell for FULL "SPOT" + 'fee') So they have an initial $185.30 'acquisition profit'... then sell for and add an additional $275.30... racking up $460.60 on the initial investment of $90.00--- while 'price jacking' the customer. If they do THIS just over "Silver Prices" .... it makes one wonder about "Ethics" and Fair Dealings.
