My husband and I have been going there for years and love it. The food is much better than other Italian restaurants we have tried (Maggiano's or Biaggi's). The menu does change from season to season, but if a favorite dish is not on the menu, they have offered to make it for us. My husband loves the pumpkin ravioli with balsamic cream reduction sauce. I think they have the best Eggplant Parmigana I have ever tried (not greasy and heavy like at some restaurants). A lot of the pasta is home-made (maybe all of it?) so is very tasty. We have tried just about everything on the menu and never been disappointed. It is a small place, but since we go on weekdays, that never is a problem for us because it is less crowded. I think this is a good restaurant for older kids, but since the place is small and somewhat intimate, not a place you want to bring a pack of kids for dinner. The tables are rather close together so you can bring the kids, but unless your children are really well behaved, you will probably disturb other customers.
