Do NOT trust these people! My cat was spayed here, her surgery cost $348.50 due to the fact that my cat was suspected to have a condition known as Pyometra. My cat had her surgery first thing in the morning, it was evening when we went to pick her up. The vet and staff were adamant that she stay there overnight, we said no as they were closing within minutes and no one would be there overnight. They continued to insist she doesn't come home. I insist that I'm bringing her home as I can supervise her at home, best decision I ever made. We get home and she is falling over on her side, unable to stand or walk, her gums were pale white, she was so cold that she felt dead to the touch. Within 20 minutes, she goes into a coma like state and becomes completely unresponsive. We rushed her to an ER vet where they informed us she was dying of hypothermia, her temperature was 94, should be 102. She was also dehydrated and needed intravenous fluids. She was required to stay there overnight which cost us an additional $605.70 just hours after surgery. They didn't want to deal with the complications that presented after surgery and tried to cover it up, knowing she would not survive overnight! They were going to leave my dehydrated, hypothermic cat alone overnight to die. I called the next day to confront them, she tried to blame us, saying that carrying our cat 20 seconds to a heated vehicle is why she was hypothermic. One week later she has vaginal bleeding from infection, we take her back to VCA and pay another $179.89 and she's treated with a 2 week antibiotic shot. It is almost 14 days into the antibiotic shot and she still has pink vaginal discharge indicating the infection is still present, she will need another antibiotic injection and if the infection doesn't go away, she will have to be opened up again to scrape out the tissues that were left behind and became infected. This place turned a simple procedure into a nightmare, and stuck us with all the bills.

Awesome Vet

Dr Smith is very caring with all cats. The office staff and nurses are also very gentle and professional. As a tribute to how much they love cats they even have 2 office cats.
