JoJo's Salon

I had an appointment recently and was very disappointed. I felt like my stylist was rushed the entire time, my consultation was terrible, I was never offered anything to drink and she did not meet any of my expectations. Everything I requested she feel short to meet and made me feel like I was nagging her if I asked to the point that I was scared to ask. Needless to say my hair looks wise than it did prior to me going to Jojos Salon. And as a stylist myself, this reminds he if what NOT to do as a stylist.

I have been a client of Mariah's for 5 years. She always gives me a fablous hairstyle, even if I don't know what I want. I love JoJo's Salon everyone is very friendly and you don't feel intimidated by the front desk or the stylists. Great Location! For a great hairstyle go to JoJo's Salon!

I had an excellent experience at JoJo's Salon. My appointment was with Chrissy for a haircut and color. She was prompt to greet me in the waiting area at my appointment time and we talked about my hair expectations for this service. I wanted my gray covered at the roots with some highlights throughout. She brought out a book of color swatches to match my natural color and we picked out the lighter color too. She colored the roots and foiled the lighter color with some of the root color through and explained what she was doing as i have never had it all done at the same time before. She made me comfortable with some magazines to look at for the cut and style as i processed for 35 minutes. She washed the color out put a toner on my hair at the shampoo bowl, she explained that she was taking the extra step to ensure the highlights were going to be a pretty tone throughout my hair. She then washed and conditioned my hair and we went back to the chair for the rest of the service. I had picked out a cut and style from one of the magazines which she said that would look good with a few adjustments to flatter my face shape and styling routine. She cut and styled my hair and told me what she was using so that i could repeat the style at home. Overall i had a great experience and would recommend Chrissy and JoJo's Salon to others.

I went to treat myself to the works.... Received a facial and body scrub by Angie... which was wonderful with the exception of all the noise outside the door and children running around. Mani/Pedi, by Susan... i could have done myself minus the cuts fron her nails and the blister on my baby toe, from her abusing my cuticles. The polish has strand of cotten imbeded in it... Then there is Mariah! She did not listen to me and what I wanted/requested. She was supposed to give me a new cut to add volume and height to my hair, and give me partial hi/lo lights on the top. She coloured all my hair!!!! When I tried to stop her she basically called me a liar and said that she was fixing the colour (my natural hair colour which I had kept because I liked the natural dark brown contrast). Then I got to sit for 40 min with the foils in my hair (20 min 2 long)... Then the grand finish, she made the comment do you want your hair cut 2? I should have said no and left with the damage she had already done... I needed my haircut and had seen the girls hair that she had cut while I was waiting with the foils in my hair... it actually looked good. So... she gives me the same hairstyle/cut I had before... I paid over $500. I'll never go back again and will not recommend them to anyone... This is supposed to be a Day Spa/Salon... a place to feel pampered and relaxed... I hope that Angie finds another location to work... she was excellent and professional... 2 bad that I can't say that about the rest of them.
