Let me just address the first review. Virgil - the owner of the business, does not always answer his phone because of NUMEROUS thing going on in his shop. I know this because I have sat there, waiting to get my car repaired and see what's happening. Virgil is the point man in the deal, number 2 is Jeremy, his son. Virgil is a man of morals,l ethics and honesty. He treats his customers SO well that they invite him to their weddings and other life-changing events. Again, I have sat in the chair and had discussion about everything - you will NOT find a better quality repair shop around - even dealers lack in comparison. It you just want brass tacks, here it is: they aren't going to oversell you,they aren't going to fix something that doesn't need fixed and they are going to give you the same price as everyone else. What's so great about that? Because they have excellent techs/mechanics, they KNOW what they are doing, they will get the job done RIGHT.

We have owned more than a dozen autos over 25 years and our favorite mechanics of all times are at Highland Auto. They have saved us thousands of dollars in repairs. In the early days we would take our cars to the auto dealers, and when the repairs were exhorbitant, we double checked with Highland. We don't bother with anyone else now because Highland can fix it by tightening a screw. They also shop around for the best deals. Their rating would suffer a little in my book from not contacting us rapidly and for taking their time with repairs, but that botheration is so miniscule when compared with the peace of mind that comes from knowing you are not being hoodwinked that it doesn't cound.

It's great to have a mechanic that you can trust!
