I have been a patient of Wink for many years and recently left them to utilize my insurance. Let me just say, that I missed the experience and true care and concern you get at Wink. They may not take insurance and sure the cost is a bit more out of pocket. But I have realized that you cannot put a price on a doctor that is passionate about what they do and transfers that to every aspect of your visit. From the moment you walk in to Wink your "experience" begins. The staff is as welcoming as your family would be. Check in is a breeze, not like most medical offices. If there is ever a wait, it doesn't feel like it. The hospitality of offering a bottle of water on a hot day and the genuine chit chat with the staff makes it seem like you are just visiting friends. The exams are quick without making you feel like they're goal is quantity not quality. Dr. Liz takes the time to answer all questions and more importantly makes you feel like your visit is unique and individual, not like she has seen your case 100 times. If you require glasses, the staff is unbelievably knowledgeable on not only what suits your medical need, but your fashion needs as well. My glasses were crafted on site and that made it feel like they were custom made just for me. I stop in from time to time just for an adjustment or to pick up contact lenses and the "experience" continues, we pick up right where we left off on the last visit. If you are looking for more then a prescription and a bill in the mail, I highly recommend Wink Optical.
